Q: I have had my ASUS laptop for just over 2 months, and I've realised the power cable whilst being securely in, and charging without a problem, feels slightly loose when wobbled. I know this isn't a problem at the moment, but is this right, should it feel slightly loose? It moves quite freely inside the socket of the laptop when moved
It should fit snuggly. Is it moved very frequently while plugged in? If so, this is the reason. As long as it makes a good connection and is 'slightly' loose, you should be alright. However, if I were you, I would ensure the lenght of the warranty and about 1-2 months before it expires, I'd bring it in and mention the cable is loose.
Q: Wire and cable manufacturing process (to be detailed)?
Hello, copper wire per square safe current-carrying 6A, .05X6A = 3A.X220V = 660W, 3AX380V = 1140W, aluminum core for the same 4A algorithm,
Q: which cables cant be near each other??(will cause noise radiation if put together)i gotta run some wires through my car and i dont know wich ones to keep away from others. im runnin...4 gauge (eventually will be 2 gauge) power wire for amp2 speaker wires for rear deck speakersrca cables for ampremote turn on wire for amp
It does not seem likely that you will have a substantial problem with noise from speaker cables going through power cables and then the amp. Besides sheilding, use of capacitors on the power cable at the amp end (follow correct polarity on electrolytic types) will kill noise. A properly-rated, and connected, Zener diode is another step. Such things as antenna-leads are so sensitive that they are always well-shielded. ______________________________________... As for zener diode use, I have never heard of them being used in this application. But then, many new ideas have never been applied before. Sparky has pestered me with not one, but *two* hostile emails and is in some state of jealous frustration. He can't seem to figure how one could supress overvoltage transients using a zener (duh). If he had asked respectfully, I would have told him what I was thinking, but since he is determined to be a jerk about it, then whatever...
Q: I would like to buy a replacement. What AC/DC adaptor should I buy? Should I buy the exact same model (FSP150-AAA)? I assume any AC/DC adaptor that has the same spec is ok but I am not sure what is the key for the spec. Any advice would be appreciated.
There appear to be various manufacturers of FSP150-AAA power supplies. You must have a substantial laptop or whatever that is powering. Most laptops have 65 to 90 watt PSU, my gaming laptop is 120 watt, and FSP150-AAA is 150 watt. Or is that an all-in-one PC where the computer is built into a screen? The one you link to is one of the ones I found in a web search.
Q: And my other drive has the only analog audio cable on my motherboard hooked up to it, and i know i need to plug in one more cable, because windows wont start up the way i set it up and idk what needs to go into which port.
Are your drives IDE, SCSI or SATA? If they are IDE, are the jumpers set correctly for master/slave or cable select?
Q: Two weeks ago, my 1 yr 19 lcd monitor began to flicker? Why? The power cord and usb cable are secure?
I've had a similar thing happen with my 17 GEM monitor. Eventually, I relocated the monitor and redid all the wiring and the flickering ultimately stopped. I'd wager it's a wire issue.
Q: my portable HD has 2 USB cables, one for the computer and one for power... why?
The small ones don't. The big ones do. They require the use of a power adapter (cable) to work properly. It cannot be powered by a USB cable alone.
Q: I was just wondering what ATX power supplies (exact model) that can support the Antec P182 computer case. Like, the power supply goes on the bottem of the case, but the power supply cables need to be long enough for it to reach the top of the case?Basically, I am trying to ask what ATX power supplies that have long cables? Thanks! :)
Unless you have a good reason for putting it there and plenty of air flow the bottom of the case is not a good place to put a power supply. They generate a lot of heat and this will rise up into the case.
Q: my Sony Bravia KDL32BX300 power cable has been partly chewed by a hamster, whats the best way to fix this, to cut off damaged wiring and replace the plug or do i need to replace the whole power cable?? thanks
Change the cable and give the hamster away.
Q: even though it lights, its not so bright. its little dim but cpu is not at all turning on, its silent...
CPUs don't 'light'. nothing ain't - nothing is not - everything is (that's what you really are saying). The power light may 'light', but if there is no CPU function, no power is going through the CPU. Probably a bad PSU (Power Supply Unit). Change it (cheap).
