- Did you copy this correctly? As described, each of the carpets has the same dimensions: 2 feet by 4 feet, for an area of 8 square feet. That answer will do for the first blank. For the second blank, the same as is an appropriate answer.
- Q:We've recently moved houses and have found there is sandflies/biting insects everywhere. - There okorder and also maybe on OKorder. I had a TB who had the same issue. Other things that help are: coating them with flyspray every chance you get AND using those Fly Predators things... they really work but I think the season is over for them.

If it's really bad, tell your landlord he has to replace the carpeting because it's making you sick from the smell. And that's what burns me up about some stupid cat owners. They're the ones that give CATS a bad name. There are no smelly, dirty cats. There's only bad cat OWNERS. And the reason alot of landlords won't even allow pets in the first place. - From the feel, nylon carpet softness than polyester carpet soft, polyester carpet feel more hard. By using the same pigment, the color of nylon is more lustrous than that of polyester.
- Q:This rug has been in my room for at least ten years and it has never been cleaned. I don't have access to expensive supplies so I'll need to know how to do it myself with out steam `cleaners or anything else... - For a rug this large, I suggest using either a foaming cleaner, like Woolite Spray Foam Carpet cleaner or a dry granule cleaner like Capture or Resolve. The both types of cleaners are a simple application. Just spray on the foam, agitate with a brush to work into the fibers, allow to dry and vacuum up. Dry granule, sprinkle on surface and work into the fiber with a brush and let dry, then vacuum. If you have spots or stains, just work either into it with a brush. I like the Woolite because it also contains a scotch guard that leaves a stain repellent and makes cleaning up spills easier without staining.
- Q:I already have my carpet and padding. We purchased a whole house of like new, but used carpet at a great price for our LR and BR's and we have carpet padding. We planned to pay to have the carpet installed, but we are now completely out of money and paying someone is not an option. I know it will not be as nice or last as long, but I am wondering if we can glue the carpet down? It's just a regular mid-grade plush carpet. I am also wondering if this can be done with carpet padding or can it only be glued directly to the sub-floor? I am trying to figure out if I could staple down the carpet padding and somehow glue the carpet to the padding? Any help/suggestions on gluing down carpet with or without padding would be appreciated. Thanks!
- Carpet and a separate pad cannot be glued down . This system needs the tack strip on the perimeter. Any and all carpet can be just glued direct. Not a comfortable walk on regular carpet but it can be done. Getting the stretch on this type of carpet installation is hard for a DIY er. Glue direct commercial carpet is a different story. Plus consider what you d pay for glue ( not cheap) and reconsider having it professionally installed. Any questions you can e mail me through my avatar. GL

- Yes, it will change the colour. Also, it 's not safe for your dogs. BTW - Why do you have carpet in your backyard? Shouldn't you have grass like normal people?
- Q:does anyone know how to get pop out of carpet I have tryed everyting and nothing seems to be working it is a lite colored carpet so you can see the brown stain the carpet is about 2 years old I have tryed the wax and iron and I have tryed the carpet cleaning stuff and nothing will take it out please help me
- For a stain that set that long I recommend that you bite the bullet and rent a steamvac from a local gricery store. You can usually get one with cleaner for 24hrs for around $20-$30. Make sure you let it dry all the way. All that stickyness from the pop has probably attracted all kinds of stubborn dirt. Good Luck!!
- Q:Rather than step into his litter box, that stays clean because I know how picky cats are, he'll crap on my bathroom rugs with his litter box not a foot away from him. Is it a territorial thing? Would he stop if I bought new rugs? I'd have already thrown his butt outside, but he's declawed. I hate having to keep my bathroom rugs folded over all the time because of the little stinker.
- Lose the rug. Buy some cat attract for the littler box. Wait about a week or so and replace your rug. Works all the time.
