- Q:Do you think working a job selling vacuum cleaners would be a sucky job?
- Hi it was but you are 60 years too late as that had all the life sucked out of it well after the bottom fell out of the market with the DYSON.
- Q:i am trying to decide which toddler vacuum cleaner to get my daughter for christmas. i've been reading reviews and still can't decide. we have a dyson which we *love* but the childs dyson has the worst reviews of all, it seems. does anyone have the kids dyson, hoover, dirt devil... or any of the other ones? i really just want the one that actually works the best. we have 4 dogs and my 2 y/o actually will go around with our handheld and go straight for dog hair to 'clean up.' i'd like to get her up off her knees and be able to do the 'push and pull' with a real vacuum like mommy and daddy do since that's what she really wants... plus using the dustbuster has her hands closer to the brushes than i'd like.
- Childs Dyson Hoover
- Q:Where is a place in Louisiana to buy one? Is there a Dealership?
- i use to sell rainbows out of massechusettes ! try the internet for a dealership by you !
- Q:I need your help! I have had over 6 diffrent vacuums. The first one was great but heavy and old. It was a GE but now the old thing has broken down. So I have tried to get the light weight ones, the cordless ones, even ones with all these kits with them, but they are all worthless. Either they break or all too delecate or too big. I NEED ONE THAT IS BAGLESS, HAS GOOD SUCTION, SMALL THAT WILL FIT UNDER BEDS AND TABLES, GOOD WITH CAT HAIRS AND MAYBE INCLUDE A HOSE TOO. Please help. Give me a store name and a URL of the vacuum. Thanks.
- Bagless vacums do not work. I have this thing about dirt myself. I use the Kenmore Pogressive / True Hepa. It is a canister vacum which at first I was not crazy about but after getting used to pulling it around I love it. The suction is great. I vacum my whole house with it once a week. I was surprised to see how much I really get out of my house when I change the bag. My house does not even get as dusty as it would if I swept the floor. I have had bagless before and this vacum for $350.00 is great!!!! Now there are the one's that cost $1500 to $1800 or more that work but you still need to clean out the parts to keep it working properly. Bagless vacums have filters too that wind up leaking. If you have the room wet-vacs are probably the best vacum on the planet. But everything needs to be cleaned in order to work properly and last. I like my Kenmore because I can throw the bag away and I rinse out the inside filter a few times to make it last and I get wonderful results with it. I bought it a Sears.
- Q:So I have heard tales of cats or dogs getting eviscerated(gutted) by a vacuum cleaner. Now personally I do not believe this, I am just wondering if there is any science or knowledge to back this legend up.
- No, I doubt it would even suck in the smallest cat or dog. Maybe an insect, but NO, not a cat OR dog. Dogs and cats sometimes dislike vacuum cleaners. Please do not do this if you do it. If you do, you are absolutely cruel to animals. Just saying. Hope this helps.
- Q:vacuum cleaners?
- Not if you're a dust bunny. But if you were, you'd have bigger things to worry about then, wouldn't you?
- Q:You can't vacuum if there's no power, so why would you need the light? You can't get into the corners of the carpet anyhow, so why taunt you by showing you the extra dust?
- So you can see what you are vacuuming up under your couch or easy chair where it is dark. (A lot of couches used to sit up off the ground.)
- Q:I have two dogs who shed like CRAZY and I have blue carpet and their fur sticks out and my vacuum just is not picking it up. What vacuum works the best?
- My favorite vacuum by far is Oreck. I have owned ours now for 7 years and it still works great! I loathe bagless vacuums because the dirt STILL has to be bagged and dumping the canister into another bag was horrid. The dirt and dust goes airborne creating a bigger problem than you start with! Oreck bags are worth every penny. They have a special way of sealing as you pull them out of the machine. I could go on and on. I love my Oreck. You can visit any Oreck store for a live demonstration. Just tell them you window shopping for vacuums. :) No I don't work for them. I'm just a happy homemaker who finally found a great vacuum! :)
- Q:I would like to know which vacuum cleaners are better - Hoover Vs Kenmore?
- I have a hoover wind tunnel vacuum. I like it very much except it seems to eat belts. I have had it about 3 months and have gone thru 3 belts. They are cheap so I don't really mind. But overall it is the best vacuum I have used.
- Q:I am wanting to buy one of those self-activated quot;robotvacuum cleaners. But I need one that will have good enough suction to vacuum up a LOT of dog hair. What is the best one?
- I've had pretty good luck with the iRobot cleaner. As mentioned, they don't have much capacity but that's not necessarily a show-stopper. The first few times you use it, you'll probably have to empty it every 10-15 minutes, which can be annoying. Once it's cleaned up the backlog of months or years worth of hair, it'll be much more manageable.
