not unless you replace the carpet a burn changes the chemical properties of the material there is no way to get it out or even make it less noticeable No way that first idea will work especially with multiple burns it would look terrible

I don't think we have very dirty carpet but it was always suggested by our carpet cleaner (by the way - I hate how they always upsell their services). anyways - I want to have another carpet cleaning soon in the spring and would like to be more educated about this.Bottom line is - if 'steaming cleaning' does not clean... why bother having such service in the first place?

There are many ways to clean carpets. One is where they APPLY a dry cleaning agent on your carpet, agitate the chemical into the carpet fibers and then vacuum it up. I do not prefer this method. The one I prefer is Steam Cleaning. But be sure it is a truck mount - so that it has enough suction to remove all detergents. Don't rent the steam cleaners at the super markets - all they will do is ruin your carpets because they don't have enough power to clean and/or remove the cleaning chemicals. STEAM CLEAN - IT'S THE BEST!

Q:Does anyone know where I can find a large area rug, mostly black with gold detail? I was looking at oriental rugs, but I'm not particularly fond of any of the ones I've found so far. it's probably not powder, it sounds more like carpet fibers and yes it will cause health problems. My son was affected by carpet fibers, we had to go through chest xrays, mri, and countless visits to the doctor along with several prescriptions for inhalers before the city health inspector came into my home and determined the problems my son was experiencing were a result of the berber carpet we had throughout our home. The carpet breaks down when you walk on it and vacuum it, that gets lifted into the air and you breath it in. It's not dust, it's not powder, it's synthetic fibers. We had all carpet removed and replaced it with tile, my sons symptoms disappeared.

Q:I purchased this large rug at IKEA, I think its made of wooven cotton, but Im not sure (it doesnt have the tag anymore). Its really dirty, but I'm not able to put it in the laundry machine, its to big.The rug is this light cream color, so stains are very visible. Its got this weird stains, but they are made of dirt ,not of another substance. I already tried cleaning with the vacuum, but it doesnt remove them, the rug still looks dirty. I dose my stains up with dishwashing liquid throw the rug over the truck.Then I wait an hour or so to let the soap loosen the stain I hose the h*ll out of it with a power washer.Then i have to let it sit for 3 days to dry,unless it is hot or windy!I don't go anyplace much during this time.
