1. For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?
—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.
2. What is the MOQ for this tile?
—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.
3. Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?
—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.
- Q:bought home, tiles loose in shower, wonder if water damage is behind it
- Tiles originally went on with an adhesive mortar and then grout. I suspect the grout fell out, and water softened the mortar and the tile fell off. Take the tile off and clean any loose mortar from behind it. Don't use the shower for a couple of days and let the area dry thoroughly. Buy some silicone adhesive that is not water soluble and re-stick the tile to the wall. Once it has been in place for 20 minutes, re-re-grout the tiles using a latex grout. Let it all dry a couple of more days and you are good to go.
- Q:I am looking for an obsolete 8X8 ceramic tile I believe was made by Interceramic. It‘s described on my original sales slip from 1999 as IC WestPalm Surf It‘s solid white in color and has a slight pebble texture. I need to modify my kitchen some and don‘t want to tear up the entire floor to install new type tile. Any ideas how to find this tile if there‘s any left out there.
- IC did away with the 8x8 tile about 8 to 10 years ago .. They revamped there line to a 10 and 13 inch tile..10 didn t last long at all..Soon the did away with most all the red bodied tile.. So please don t even bother trying.. You will have to do something else , like a border and or accents. There were reclamation places that bought up old lots of tile but none that I know about now.. - Q:What is the finish height of tile after grout and tile??? For example if I were to lay tile how much would it bring up the floor?? 1half inch???
- It depends where you're starting from... you should put a mesh and scratch coat down first... this could add up to 1/4 depending on how thick you lay the mortar in to level out the imperfections in the floor... then the tile should sit on that with a notched trowel application of the set mortar... so another 1/16 or so... then the thickness of the tile on top of that.... the grout isn't higher so... Hope this helps with the calculation...
- Q:want to tile counter top with out using hardboard
- It can and will hold up on one condition w/o a backer board.The top must be 2 3/4 ply wood or nova ply( HDF) , not the single layer counter top with the false edge that makes it look like its 1 1/2 thick. Other wise you need a backer board so the tile meets tile codes( ATC and TCA guide lines) for a minimum substrate which is 1 1/4 A few special thing need to be done but it will work. What should I keep in mind? It is a single story house that is about 30 years old and I beleive it is all the original stuff.
- Most of the stores like Home Depot and Lowes actually have classes to show you how to do this sort of thing. They will even show you how to use the tools. Remember it is going to tie up your shower for a weekend at least, so make arrangements with a friend to use their shower !It's a hellofa job but when it's done you feel awesome! The removal and prep is a lot harder than the repacement. Very messy so make sure you have a good shop vacuum handy and those little face masks too. You are gonna love this.
