What are the materials?
Our rattan furniture is woven by hand with environment-friendly PE rattan on strong powder-coated metal or aluminum structure with soft cushions and pillows. The cushions are usually replaceable and washable.

- Maria gave you the best answer. Beware though. It the urine has been there a long time and the room is quite warm, the urine may have saturated the whole cushion or sofa. Maria's suggestion is just great and you should follow her method. But once it's aged and gone right through you may have to have the cushion dry cleaned. Be sure to BLOT and NOT RUB too much. Rubbing could spread it. I had the same problem when my 2 cats...14 yrs ago. One passed away. But one is still with me.. When they were kittens, they urinated on my sofa...once! But I was away for a couple of days and my cat-sitter didn't notice. When I came home I followed Maria's method and it seemed fine...on the surface. But as I laid down to watch TV and a rush of air came from the cushion I detected an odour. I had the cushion dried cleaned. Good luck.
- Q:I am currently on a 90 day tourist visa in Japan because my US Navy E-5 Fiancé and I are getting married in Yokosuka City Hall. He is stationed here and he has his own housing provided by the navy outside base. However, his sea duty would expire on August 2013. He already got his orders and that for Shore duty he would be assigned again in Yokosuka for another 3 years. - It will depend on the country you are from to whether or not it will be granted. The Japanese government will grant a SOFA stamp to some non command sponsored dependents to stay there but not all. He needs to discuss it with his command and you will the immigration on what they will allow.

- Folex is the best that I have found. It is an upholstery/carpet cleaner. I have a microfiber sofa and it has been pretty good at getting tough stains out. It is fantastic on the carpet. If the stain is really bad, you may need to call a professional cleaner - I have heard good things about that.

- It all depends on what you want. Like the first answer, puppys need a routine and the same practice all the time. If you let the puppy on the sofa, they will see it as acceptable behaviour and always go on it. However, if you learn to teach commands like down and bed it can be easier to budge them! I let Alfie up at reasonable times, Im awful for not sitting at the table when im eating and so if Im eating on the sofa you can guess that Alfie likes to try whats on my plate if he can! The whole reason that I started letting him up in the first place is due to him sitting on the floor looking up at me and begging to be allowed up.. I caved in hehe. He's attending puppy classes at the moment and we've been adviced that if you dont want him on the sofa (he's not big enough to jump up yet) and he's jumping up at the furniture and/or barking, cross your arms and turn away from him as if you say no your not allowed they tend to think your joining in with them and your giving them what they want- attention! :D Seems to be working with Alfie at the moment but it has only been a week- watch this space! She has two scratching posts, one vertical and one horizontal each in one side of the apartment and she does use them, but she also scratches the sofa no matter how hard i try to keep her from doing it. - There probably gonna steam clean it, and if you want to save money it will be cheaper to do it yourself, at your grocery store, like HEB, you can rent a steam cleaner with the attachments to clean your sofa and all for like $25 bucks, and none of the steam cleaner solution will affect your health, if you do it yourself, you can actually buy the solution that takes out allergens....smells good and works good...good luck which ever way you choose i'm sure your sofa will look good.

- How about the front door? Sliding glass doors? I had a tight fight through an interior door once, to get the sofa in we removed the door to get an extra few inches. This is not hard to do - just take the pins out of the hinges.
- Q:Just bought a second hand couch and loveseat...im pretty pissed now because I get it home and because I do not have a dog, now I can smell it. - NOTHING is going to work, unless you completely recover the sofa, getting RID of the cover and the stuffing that is probably holding the urine odor. You made a really bad mistake. OWN IT. Buying second-hand upholstered furniture, is never a good idea. You've got: skin cells, dander, dust mites, semen, urine etc. etc. Utter FILTH.
