Q:How many ball bearings are in the freewheel part of the hub on a 26 shimano mountain bike?
Call a bike shop!!!!!!!!!
Q:Why would wheel bearings go bad (Other than Defective parts) and how could you tell?
depending on how far out of alignment your vehicle was it can cause severe rotation problems for the bearings and when re-aligned the worn areas of the bearings are no longer in proper position and you feel and hear them making noise, vibrating and worst of all if you continue driving on them you can destroy the hub as well and have a much more expensive repair! Having your vehicle in alignment isn't just for the sake of your tires it involves all of the suspension of the vehicle.
Q:How can i get the wheel bearings out of the back wheel of my yamaha r6 2002 model?
Yamaha R6 Wheels
Q:What Deck Trucks and Bearings n shizz would u recccomend for a street skateboader?
Deck - any brand (as long as its not walmart or others like that) 7.5 - 8 inches wide, 30 - 32 inches long Trucks - any brand that is the same size as your deck Wheels - any brand 49 - 53mm big Bearings - Bones Reds Griptape - any brand Hardware - any brand Shoes - any brand For decks I would recommend Mystery, Flip , or Baker. There are tons more, but these are my favorites. For trucks I have always rode on Ventures, but many people say Independents are the best. For wheels many people ride on Spitfires or Bones Wheels. For bearings ride Bones Reds. Cheap and good. For griptape, it depends. Mob Grip is the grippiest. I usually ride on Jessup grip. All hardware is the same. They all break eventually, just buy some cheap ones. Many people wear smaller shoes for skating because they say it is easier to control the board more. I wear 12's but when I skate I wear 10.5s. I would recommend DVS, Fallens, or Globes.
Q:Bad CV's or Bad Front Bearings?
jack it up, grab the top and bottom of the tire and try to shift the tire around. If you can feel the tire give a little bit each time you push/pull on it, it's a bad bearing.
Q:What would happen if I don't do something about my Wheel Ball Bearings?
It could cause you to have an accident. Bad bearings can run a long time though, if you can live with the noise. Once you start feeling a vibration you should go ahead and replace them.
Q:I just changed my wheel bearings on one front wheel. I hear a 'clunk' when going around corners left and right
with the preliminary information you gave, it sounds like you have a CV joint going out. One way to confirmt this would be to jack your car up, and with the car in neutral, turn the wheel by hand, and see if it clunks then. If it does, you should be able to with a lot of care gently wigle it back and forth and locate the source.
Q:WD-40 on skateboard bearings?
Wow! Good answers all around! WD-40 made for NASA like in 50's or 60's to protect missile outer covering from moisture, ice build up, rust and all. And it did a fair job. Real rocket science stuff! But early rocket science stuff! With use like in door knobs, locks, wd-40 will collect moisture. Which leads to collecting rust, dust, dirt, and in cold weather ice. It also solidifies...turns gummy. And looses what lubricating qualities it has...After a while...had. So the bearings will spin really fast now as the oil put into bearings is thin.. And later bearings will be ruined by you using the board as the oil breaks down. Have bearings cleaned by a pro or by yourself if mechanically inclined. Then buy a serious lubricating oil made for your skateboarding use. You spent good money for a good board. Do so now with the oil and enjoy!
Q:What's the difference between ABEC 3 and 5 rollarblade bearings?
This Site Might Help You. RE: What's the difference between ABEC 3 and 5 rollarblade bearings? I took the ABEC 5 bearings out of my normal recreational blades and put them in my aggressive inlines that had ABEC 3's in them.they r all oiled great and before i test them i want to know the difference between them.
Q:On a scale of 1-10 how good are abec 3 skateboard bearings?
They can be between a 9 and 10 or they can be a 1. The ABEC number is basically useless for skate bearings. It is related to vibration at very high speeds (over 200 mph on a board). The tight tolerances on the high ABEC ratings can actually slow you down which is why the high end company (Bones, Zero Drag, Twin Cam) all make bearings without any ABEC rating as their top bearings. However, there is a spec called precision that is really sloppy and was in common use before people started getting ABEC 1 bearings for the consistency. The biggest thing that 99% of the people will see as a difference in speed of the bearing is the lubricant that they maker put in the bearings. Grease will be slow at first until it is pushed mostly to the side but it lasts the longest before you need to relubricate or replace the bearings. Oil is the fastest but doesn't last long. Gels are in between in speed and life.
