Q:On the large harness that goes to the radio, I can't figure out what 5 of the wires are for. on the harness they are b3 (light tan/white), b4 (gray), b5 (black), a6 (pink), and a7 (blue).

Q:A street lamp weighs 200 N. It is supported by two wires that form an angle of 130° with each other. The tensions in the wires are equal. What is the tension in each wire supporting the street lamp?If the angle between the wires supporting the street lamp is reduced to 100°, what is the tension in each wire?
Problem 1: If the tension in the two wires are equal, the angle they make with the horizontal must also be equal. Always remember that a horizontal line is a straight angle; hence, it has a measurement of 180°. Let's look for the angle the wires make with the horizontal. 130 + x + x = 180 130 + 2x = 180 2x = 180 - 130 2x = 50 (Divide both sides by 2) x = 25° Each wire makes a 25° angle with the horizontal. We can now find the tension. The mass must be divided by 2. Using trigonometry, let's find the tension force. The divided weight of the lamp shall be the opposite side, and the tension force shall be the hypotenuse. sin 25° = (200 / 2) / Ftens Ftens = 100 / sin 25° Ftens = 236.62 N (Answer) The tension is 236.62 N in each wire. Problem 2: We use the same approach. 100 + x + x = 180 100 + 2x = 180 2x = 180 - 100 2x = 80 (Divide both sides by 2) x = 40° Each wire makes a 40° angle with the horizontal. Calculate the tension force. sin 40° = (200 / 2) / Ftens Ftens = 100 / sin 40° Ftens = 155.57 N (Answer) The tension is 155.57 N in each wire. Hope this helps!
Q:a difference of 25 feet with 16 gague wire
You are not going to notice any difference at all at the length of 25 feet. If you are going to have 100 feet length then I would advice using a 14 gauge wire. It is not going to have any affect on your amp. Only the speaker resistance will have an affect on your power amplifier. Hope this will help you out.
Q:How can u do a wire transfer? Is there anything extra that is needed to do this? Are you able to make a wire transfer from your home computer?
A wire transfer is that exact same as sending cash. As soon as it is gone. It is gone. The bank can not protect you. I suggest using a credit card. If they will only accept wire transfer as payment I would be very thorough on my research into the company and know exactly who I was dealing with. I would pay the extra fees via pay-pal where you have some protection. If he is a fraud and you wire money, you are out the money unless you hire an attorney to help you get it back which will probably cost you more than the 8k. I'd buy local if you can in this instance.
Q:Has anyone ever used welding wire in their car audio setup? Is it more flexible or less than other car power wire? Is this a big problem? Is it a good or bad jacket?Would you use it again?I am looking at buying some welding wire from weldingsupply because it is .81 per foot. I would love to know if anyone has done this before and what they thought. The wire i am looking at is 4 gague.
it should be fine it is about like the monster wire the jacket is a little thinner but it is also stiffer jacket it is not quite as flexible but it is very close as far as picking up stray signals (engine noise ) i don,t know that is not something welding cable is designed to stop regular amp wiring does have a thicker jacket which insulates it more
Q:hey im wiring up a headunit to my L300 van. The factory headunit wasnt there and im having trouble connecting which colour wires to the factory colour wires. if anyone knows which coulours go to what would be much appreciatedcheers.
Hi, okorder /
Q:I understand that in a plug you have the earth wire, live wire and neutral wire. But what is the individual job of these wires?? I know how to wire a plug, i just want to know the individual job of each wire. This is not homework, this is something iam teaching myself.Thanks.
The typical U.S. power distribution system has two hot wires coming into your electric panel, plus a neutral wire. The neutral wire is grounded to earth ground, as is the protective green earth wire. An outlet, carrying 110 volts from one of the hot wires (black), supplies current for the load and it flows back to the transformer on the pole normally via the neutral (white) wire to the center transformer (grounded) tap. The green protective wire does nothing in normal operation. However, should the appliance have a metal outer skin, and the machine develops a short, energizing the outer skin, it will flow through the green ground wire back to the transformer rather than through you and back to the transformer.
Q:Would crepe paper stick on chicken wire?
Crepe paper needs an adhesive to make it stick to a surface, such as white glue. However, it gets messy once dampened, as the colors may bleed. Instead, I would consider working with paper mache or plaster gauzing strips, which would provide a strong skin over the chicken wire. Both can be primed with gesso then decorated with acrylic paints. If this is a sculptural piece you want to keep, we would also suggest varnishing it for protection.
Q:Just need a wiring diagram link that shows all wires and possibly steps on installing an aftermarket stereo.
I will ASSUME that someone had already cut your factory harness. If NOT, then buy a harness!! DO NOT cut the factory wires. Here you go: Constant 12V+ Red/Black Switched 12V+ Blue Ground Chassis Illumination Green/White Dimmer n/a Antenna Rear Window Front Speakers 6 1/2 Doors Left Front (+) White/Blue Left Front (-) Black/Blue Right Front (+) White/Red Right Front (-) Black/Red Rear Speakers 6 x 9 Rear Deck Left Rear (+) Yellow/Blue Left Rear (-) Gray/Blue Right Rear (+) Yellow/Red Right Rear (-) Gray/Red
Q:Hello, I have a 4 year old Trane XR12 unit. Recently the compressor fan is noisy, and now stops when when under power after 5-10 min. The main fuses and breakers are fine, the fan spins freely when turned, the contactor pulls in fine, the dual capacitor checks out. But, the wiring of the capacitor does not match wire diagrams. Could this have caused the fan motor to prematurely fail?..............................Terminal: C red wire, FAN brown wire, HERM has both orange and purple. Schematic shows the purple wire should be with red wire on common C. The purple also leads to fan.
Hi, I looked at the schematic on-line. If you still have the original fan motor in the unit then you are correct. The center terminal on the capacitor should have the red wire from the T1 terminal of the contactor, the red wire from the compressor, and the purple wire from the fan. The FAN terminal should have the brown wire from the fan. The HERM terminal should have the orange wire from the compressor. The black wire from the fan and the black/blue wire from the compressor should lead back to the T2 terminal of the contactor. Again, that is if the motor is the original motor. If it was replaced at some point in time, the wiring colors can change from manufacturer to manufacturer, in which case it's possible that the new motor is wired correctly. There should be a diagram on the motor to show you the correct wiring configuration.
