Ceramic Fibre Paper Description:
Ceramic Fiber Paper is a woven fabric made from our high quality ceramic fiber yarn. It can be used for high temperature applications up to1260° C. The Paper is reinforced with fiberglass filament, and optional Inconel/ stainless steel wire.
Ceramic Fibre Paper Application:
-Heat insulation furnace curtain, large area thermal insulation.
-Radiant heat shielding, flexible fabric expansion joints for high temperature piping.
-Safety blankets, welding blankets, protective and insulating covers, gaskets, cable or pipe wrapping, etc.
Ceramic Fibre Paper Advantage:
-Lightweight and low thermal conductivity.
-Excellent insulation at high temperature.
-Resists corrosive chemicals, commonly used acid and alkali.
-Strong and abrasive. It can be used in tough environment.
-Good substitute of asbestos products in many insulation and sealing applications.
-Reinforcing material: glass fiber wire, stainless steel wire, glass fiber and stainless steel wire.

- Q:What is the difference between anti-high temperature glass wool and ordinary glass wool?
- Difference: High-temperature glass wool is made up of glass fibers and special high-temperature adhesive. It is yellowish with curing agent as the high temperature adhesive and with a small quantity of glue. While ordinary glass wool is dark yellow with ordinary resin adhesive as the binder.
- Q:Can glass wool be used for external wall insulation?
- Yes, of course, but the thermal insulation effect of glass wool is generally not very good, suggest using XPS board or EPS boards.
- Q:What properties does glass wool felt have?
- It has better insulation properties.
- Q:If rock wool board and glass wool are used in enclosed stone curtain walls, which one is better?
- 1. Glass wool has a lower thermal conductivity than rock wool, and glass wool keeps about about 650 in melting crunode; firewall behind the glass curtain wall mainly use rock wool with a volume-weight of 60 to 64, and its melting crunode is about 1200.
- Q:What kinds of thermal insulation method do the Insulation glass wool insulation materials belong to?
- Glass wool insulation materials are medium and low temperature thermal insulation materials, thus they are generally used in civil and cryogenic pipeline.
- Q:Are foam glass and glass wool the same?
- Different.
- Q:Does rock wool look like glass wool ?
- Glass wool is made through high temperature melting of industrial waste glass, and then making glass into flow by high-speed centrifuge, pulling glass flow into fiber under high temperature and high speed. Rock wool is inorganic fiber made by base materials of fine basalt after high temperature melting in high-speed centrifugation equipment. Glass wool is more economical and environmentally friendly than rock wool.
- Q:Does glass wool belong to the asbestos insulation material?
- Asbestos products have many varieties and they are mainly used for thermal insulation in industrial equipment and industrial pipes. The operating temperature is within 600 ℃. Compared with glass wool, asbestos products also have more forms. They include asbestos cloth, rope, tape, sheet, blanket, packing (sealing materials), quilt (for fire suppression) and paper.Glass wool is mainly used for thermal insulation of buildings and air ducts. The operating temperature is within 450 ℃.The main products areglass wool plates and carpets. It need to be noted that asbestos is non-environmentally friendly materials and it is radioactive. Long-term contact with it may do great harm to the human body, thus the production of it is banned.
- Q:What are the hazards of glass wool to body?
