Q:I try to get paint of my caravan windows but it didnt work with stripper. any other suggestions.
the training you get what you pay for quite applies as quickly as you get your vehicle painted. in huge-unfold the less you pay the worst it is going to look. there are countless franchises interior the telephone e book. some paint jobs can fee greater perfect than you paid for the vehicle. i propose you wait awhile probable you will get use to it and save extremely some funds. you will desire to hate a low fee paint interest greater in a coloration you like than the present coloration.
Q:Jeep Wrangler rear plastic windows?
Yes some Wranglers do have rear plastic windows. What about them?
Q:is there any way to clean the faded plastic door windows on my canvas doors? we really cant afford new doors right now at 400 a whack, there faded by the sun bad.thanks
there is a product you can buy , i'm sorry i dont remember the name of it but if there is a pep boys store near you they sell it . it would be with the waxes
Q:my friends tagged my jeep like last may for the end of skool with window chalk... i got the stuff on the front and body off but the plastic windows left a light but noticeable stain... and they just tagged it again for the start of skool and im having a real hard time getting this one off is there a trick or something to buy to get this stuff off... o yea and i have a tear in my jeep window is there a way to fix that without tape like melting it back together or some waterproof glue Solution
you can try paint thinner on a rag .....not sure if it will take the stain out of the plastic or not but it should get the chalk off without a problem. not sure what to tell you about the rip in the window tho....sorry. hope the paint thinner works for you, just use caution cause the thinner is a harsh chemical. good luck. it might burn ur skin a little but wash with soap and water afterwards....your skin and the window to play it safe.
Q:So there I was today sorting and paying my bills, throwing away all those ads and credit offers (yes I shred the stuff that could get me in trouble) and I end up with a large amount of those envelopes with plastic windows in them. Some of the mail have two, one that I open and one I'm supposed to send something to the company. Fat chance for them, I pay my bills on the internet and can't afford to get books and magazines through the mail. That's what libraries are for. I used to rip out the little windows and recycle but now they are glued in so tight they seem fused. So what do you say?a. toss themb. recycle with windowsc. The reclying companies love those little windows they give body to recycled cardboard and toilet paper !
You should double check with your local department of public works, but generally speaking the windows are not recyclable. You can cut off the plastic window part and recycle the rest of the envelope. Don't recycle the plastic. Some recyclers may throw a out the whole batch if its contaminated.
Q:Ok i have a couple bonsai trees and some other assorted potted plants and i wanted to know if i put plastic sheets on the windows to keep the cold from affecting the plants if that would affect how much light the plants will get. And if it does affect it, by how much? Thx for any help i can get
Yes plastic will decrease the amount of light that penetrates the window. Most clear plastics are rated for how much light they let penetrate when new and as the plastic ages, it will let in less light. You may be able to find this information online if you know the type of plastic you are going to use. Try looking up light ratings or opacity for the plastic you have or ask where you plan to buy it. I can't remember the exact numbers, but clear to slightly opaque plastics usually decrease light by about 10-30%. Ten to fifteen percent should be okay for most sunny windows.
Q:Is plastic on my windows just as good a drapes for the winter?
why not both ! 3M product is really good ,very clear
Q:ok i have a corvette 1986 convertible. The car isn't perfect but i love it. the main problem for me is the rear plastic window. It is brown and is not visible at all to the inside for the outside. I need to know if there is any product out there that can go beyond the cleaning of oxidation. i want the window clear again. And yes it has been left outside for about 5 years to face the elements but i was not the first owner so i presume that it has been outside longer. so the question comes down to how do make the window go from brown to clear without buying a new top.
Go to an MG Spares store and ask for GREYGATE!! Its the Rear monitor Polish that all the MGF forum web sites Swear by means of !! I've acquired an MG Midget MGF and and had been told SO oftentimes by way of these guys that that is THE !!! Stuff to make use of. Additionally been advised that BMW spares stores do a very good screenpolish too.
Q:for wranglar soft top windows
Plastic expands and contracts too much to have tint put on. It will wrinkle up. That goes for hard plastics (plexiglas type) also.
Q:i am doing this investigatory project about different kinds of windows and im testing the difference between glass and plastic windows and i found that plastic windows make the room hotter than glass windows. Why is this so? what is in both these materials that causes this result? what are they made of and what contributes to this result? please help me. i need this by tomorrow!!!:(
It has to do with how well the material conducts energy. Plastic is probably a better insulator which means it does not transfer energy well. Glass is also an insulator but maybe it isn't as good of an insulator. Try doing more research on the conductive/heat transfer properties of glass vs. plastic.
