- Q:I accidentally dropped my red nail polish on to my carpet... i tried using windex - it faded it a little bit- but i can still see it! anything else i can try? and i am going to have a carpet cleaner person come and clean my carpets so will they be able to get it all out? and could there be a reaction from mixing the windex with the carpet cleaner? - My kids did this to me, dropped it off the top bunk onto tan (rented) carpet and it splattered across the entire room. Its never that easy to get out when I wanna actually put it on my nails. We used goo gone, it took alot of scrubbing but it came out. If it doesnt work good enough, you could try removing some carpet from hidden areas such as closets or whatever and carefully cutout little sections of the painted carpet and superglue the other carpet in there. My mom did that when her friend burned a hole in her living room carpet and it blended right back in and went unnoticed. Good luck!

- Carpet doesn't get Air Bubbles - it's just not possible. What you have is a badly stretched carpet. It's bunching up... You need to either have it stretched or replaced.

Unless you misrepresented the rug to the buyer in some way, such as not telling her the rug was the cat's bathroom or not telling her the rug had been flooded with dog urine, you are not obligated to do a thing. Often, and I really mean often, some people will experience buyer's remorse and want their money back. If you know the rug was in good condition and you represented it as such, don't give the money back. They might take you to court, but again they will have to prove you lied about the rug when you sold it to them. This aggravation is part of doing business.

- I have white carpets (oatmeal) and sometimes 12 children running around counting all the neighborhood boys and the small children I watch + my 3 young boys. I washed them until they started to wrinkle only to find them getting dirty with in weeks. I then found Sears brand of Dry Carpet Cleaner which costs $26 dollars for a large box (in the appliance maintenance department) and it works awesome. It picks up spots that have been there forever and leaves the house smelling soooo fresh! It drys (you must lightly mist and brush in) in about 2 hours, and you will be amazed. Because there are no soap residues left behind, the carpet stays clean with regular vacuuming! I have my own carpet cleaning machine (high end model) which I am now getting rid of it! Try it, you will never go back to shampooing carpets again!
- Q:I purchased this house last year Sept. 17 2010. From day 1 I had severe problems. The ceilings in the back fell from a Norway rat eating the pipes. Most of the house has been completely remodeled. Carpet. AC unit. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
