Q:What are hovering vacuums?
Vacuum cleaners are also known as hoovers. The US call the action vacuuming and The UK hoovering.
Q:I just bought a new carpet for our living room its so nice and very comfy my 1yr old kid loves to lie down on it and now my problem is what's the best vacuum cleaners we should use? Were looking for the best one price doesn't matter since our kid loves to play there we should find something to clean it up so he wont develop any allergies. Thanks!
The best answer to this question is... Buy what professional house cleaners janitorial cleaners use. that is Sanitare. They come in many different prices that fit your budget.$115-300. Just walk into a commercial vacuum store ask for it buy name. They will try to sell you the expensive ones, if you go in looking confused. All the cleaners walk out with this one including me. Its a floor vacuum as opposed to a hose, which gets clogged up quick. This vacuum is made to last it cleans with super power. The stores will not check your id to make sure you own a cleaning business, just act like you do.
Q:Is it just me or is anyone else afraid of vacuum cleaners?
*shudder* They are the anti-christ.
Q:I was thinking of getting one of those as seen on TV, I am an allergy sufferer and need the most efficient to get rid of the dust mites, bacteria etc..
We had a rainbow vacuum when I was a kid. I really liked it. It wasnt heavy, and the dirt stayed in the water, not back into the air like most vacuums today. It finally died after about 20 years of use. Good Luck finding a vacuum today to last that long. I havent used a rainbow in years, but it was a great vacuum. I would love to have one now, but just cant afford it. You should see if there are any places that will let you use it on a 7 day or 30 day trial. Just to see for yourself if it works well.
Q:I have bought several vacuum cleaners for wood floor and carpet. But non satisfied me. It seems like I just push the pet hair around the room floor with my vacuum cleaner. Please help me which brand is the best for pet vacuum cleanaer?
I have the same problem and bought a phillips animal care vacuum, this works well for me only thing is you have to empty it at least every 2 days for it to work well. It has a turbo brush which is great on carpets and another brush for hard floors.
Q:What do you think about the vacuums with the steam cleaners, like the Shark for an example?if you can provide a website along with your answer, that would be greatThanks

Q:I'm ready to pull my hair out.I can't seem to figure out how to use the standard normal distribution table to find Z.The question isWe want to investigate a claim about the average sound intensity of certain vacuum cleaners. Suppose the sound is a random variable having a normal distribution with a standard deviation of 3.6 dB. Specifically, we shall want to test the null hypothesis u = 75.20 against the alternative hypothesis u gt; 75.20 no the basis of measurements of the sound intensity n = 15 of these machines. If the probability of a Type I error is to be a = 0.03, what is the probability of a type II error for u = 77 dB.How do I use the normal distribution table to find a = 0.03. The only thing I know is that I have to do 1 - a.After that I can't seem to find out the rest of it. Please. Plesae just help with that.
It means like this.... In making a vacuum cleaner, since it is fairly complicated and made of many parts and does not come out exactly the same every time it is made, there are many small random effects that contribute to the amount of noise that the vacuum cleaner makes. The normal distribution is what we see whenever there are many random effects that are added together. If the same random effects apply every time, and the same measurement and sampling method is used the same time, then the distribution of the measurements will fit the normal distribution.
Q:I've got a project to do involving me creating an advertisement for a useless product, and this came to mind. If you need more explanation I believe the vacuum was on a television infomercial at one time, and it looks like a small saucer. It will continue to move across your floor without any assistance and vacuums as it goes. I'm not sure if there were multiple versions of this thing, I'm just looking for one name or brand that has it.
Robotic Vacuum
Q:I know they're like vacuum cleaners but is there anything they absolutely cannot have, aside from chocolate?
Grapes/raisins and onions
Q:Explain how this fan causes dirt to be picked up by the vacuum cleaner.
When the fan spins, it creates a region of lower than atmospheric pressure behind it and higher pressure ahead of it. The region of lower pressure is open to the area you are cleaning. This reduced pressure causes air (and hopefully what you are trying to pickup) to be pulling into the vacuum and passes through the fan and into bag or bin.
