Maintainance guide:

Make sure that you regulaly clean the wood floors in order to prevent dust accumulation. We recommand to clean a small part

of stains as a testing ground to prevent too much chromatic aberration.

Dust and stain— use a hard brush dipped in warm soapy water to remove it.

Mildew— scrub with ordinary wood mode class agents, or bleach to rinse or wipe it directly.

Chalk stains—In addition to the while chalk, other colors can not be removed, you can use bleaching agent with hot soapy

water to wash it.

Ice or snow—Apply calcium chloride or rock salt, it can melt ice or snow, then use hot soapy water to wash it.

Stain soil and dirts— Apply detergent, which contains oxalic acid or phosphoric acid. Whiping the stain for 10-15 mins.

Greasy and oil-based stains—immediately use household cleaning products with hot soapy water to wash it.

Juice and wine stains—Mixed the bleach stain agent and hot soapy water to dilute the stain and wipe.

Q:I have a tiled concrete floor in my kitchen and it is soooo cold. I am going to re-do the kitchen soon and want to put down the warmest floor I can. I cant afford underfloor heating. So, what to do? Rip up the tiles/lay laminate with insulation/vinyl flooring/another option? The current tiles are well laid and flat but are small with grout in grooves inbetween and they end just under the cabinets. Laminate with insulation looks as if it would come up quite thick if I just put it on top of the tiles. Vinyl flooring may slip on the tiles and could be just as cold. Any solutions/thoughts please (especially if you are flooring contractor!): If you put anything beside a floating laminate floor, you will need to remove the old tile (and I agree that not removing the tile then, will make a thick floor). If you remove the tile, then laying the electric mat will not add much height, and will give you a nicely warm floor. If you won't/can't put the under-floor warming... - can you change curtains or such to gain a little solar heating on floor? - you could maybe install some sort of radiant heat system high in the room - the flooring would pick up some heat from this. Cheapest of all - wear slippers.

Q:I am looking at a home from 1939. i know asbestos was used from like the1970's back very often.i want to lay down different flooring in the kitchen,however i do now want to mess with the removal of the crap(asbestos)is there a way to put flooring down without having to get all this professional removal done. and no i don't want to mess with doing it myself either.: If the floor is in good shape, and there no local ordinances about removing the previous tile why not. If there is asbestos in the flooring, which I doubt, It is safer to leave it where it is and seal it under a new floor. Pry up a corner and look to see how many layer you have though. It may be that things are getting kind of tall in that kitchen in relation to the adjacent floors. If there is damage in the old floor and gaps between tiles you will want a filler product and check to see how level the floor is too. You may have to level it if it has deformed appreciatively over the years. Check some of the DYI sites here on the web some have very good tutorials and product recommendations.
