- Lay the rug out in the sun to warm Then back roll the rug is the best way to do it. It should be back rolled around a tube. Carpet tubes work the best. Roll it tight. - Replaced carpet has to be reasonably same quality carpet. Since you have no knowledge of what was paid, the quality/pile/density, etc. there's really no way you could argue this. But generally if a renter is the type of person that damaged a carpet enough to need replacing, they shouldn't be arguing the matter anyway. These kinds of renters either have kids or animals that have destroyed it, or they themselves did it and had no regard for what happened afterward. In such a case there's really no one that would blame a landlord for anything he'd do to fix the place up afterward. Don't let yourself be one of those types of renters. It's supposed to be your home albeit temporary...it's not an animal crate.

- Hi. First get a 2 x 4 or a bit larger, then, you want to go to a carpet store, and ask if they have any remnant's left over. Take the remnants, and use a staple gun to attach the carpet to the wood. After wards, you can attach this to your wall. I have done this, and it works great.

- Make a vet appointment. Rule out any health issues and talk to him about what is going on and for how long. He may recommend behavior modification medicine. Also you can buy the litter that is called cat attract and pour a good amount over new clean litter in her box. It does help draw the cat to use the litter box. Good luck with your baby. - Q:I have a 5x7' area rug on my carpeted floor that moves an inch every time I walk across it. I want it to stay still, but I must be cautious cuz the whole point of the rug is to protect the carpet which I can't afford to replace. I've tried putting heaven stuff on top of the rug (ie. hamper, edge of dresser), but if I do, it still moves and bunches up on one side.
- Use some little nails. Hammer them in through both carpets and into the sub floor. The tiny nail will not damage carpet. You'll never know they are there.
