- Q:i have a 300x1 @ 4ohm and 600x1 @ 2ohms, i wanna hook it up at 2 ohms what gauge wiring kit should i get?
- if it is a class d then 4 gauge should do up to about 18-20 feet. I don't know of any other type of amp but that should do it.

So the area of the Al wire is pi*(0.55mm)^2 = 9.50331778 × 10^-7 m^2 The area of the Steel wire must be 3.32616122 × 10^-7 m^2 now solve for the radius of the steel wire. A = pi*r^2 - r = 0.32538 mm d = 2*r = 0.65077 mm

- Short in a wire is when two wires either don't connect cuz they're not long enough, OR when the wires start to smoke or burn or catch on fire.

- You'd need a wireless router 1. Start Menu 2 .Connect to Go into wireless connections I.E. if your computer doesn't find the router that the wireless is hooked up to- than you need a WIRELESS ROUTER to do so.
- Q:I am replacing a 2 wire circuit for a fan/light combo with a 3 wire fan/light combo switch. I ran a new 12/2 w/grnd to the switch box. I ran a 12/3 w/grnd to the ceiling box for the fan. I have a ceiling fan and light control switch that control light and fan separately. I can't figure out which wires go to what.

- Hello there George, It has become common over the past few years that non-residential boilers are wired with EPO (emergency, power off) switches just outside each door to the boiler room. This is similar to having fire alarm pull boxes by the exits. I do not know of any jurisdiction that requires it for a residence. On occassion I've seen the 24 volt circuit for the thermostat being switched, which is a bit sketchy. Normally the 120 volt circuit for the controller is switched. The switches used are of the pushbutton type.

- Q:I was looking at the wiring of my current thermostat and I want to know why it's wired the way it is...The yellow wire was wrapped around the white terminal and the yellow terminal. And the white wire was wrapped the around the Orange terminal. The red and green wires were each wrapped around their respective terminals. And the blue wire wasn't connected to anything. Why would the electrician have wrapped the yellow wire around 2 terminals? Is that normal? Also, I tried installing a new thermostat but the heating is not working. The fan works but it just blows room temperature air. The new thermostat only had 4 terminals for R, Y, W, G. I connected the wires I had to their respective terminals. However, I think it may not be working because I have a probably have a heat pump. Any Ideas why else it might not be working? Thanks a lot!
- You should take sketches of the thermostats and wires to your favorite plumbing heating store, and talk to a service person, if you feel competent enough to do the proper connections yourself. Also, include details of the thermostat wiring connections to your heating unit. Otherwise, get such a person to come over to your house to do the work.

- Q:I had recently closed up an outlet by taking the four wires and capping them off. Only to find out the two of the wires were for the ceiling fan power. I have a black and a white wire newer travelers to the ceiling fan, and two old cloth wires which look black. I do have an electrical tester and just want power for the fan, I will cover up the outlet. What wires go where ?
- Wire nut the old hot wire to the black and the old neutral to the white. Connect the grounds together also. Find which is the old hot with your tester. Not with your finger. Good grief.
