Q:The carpet stains to clean
Urine stains: new stains can be washed with warm water or 10% ammonia water. Chen Zixian wash with detergent, then wash the carpet with ammonia, citric acid.Fruit juice stains: first wash with 5% ammonia water, then use detergent again. But the ammonia injury effect on wool carpet fiber, so it should minimize the use of generally available, citric acid or soap, alcohol can also be used.Ice cream stains: wipe with gasoline.Wine stains: new stains can be washed with water. Chen Zixu, wash it with water. Water stains with ammonia and borax are required to remove stains. If it is wool, silk material carpet, oxalic acid cleaning can be used.Coffee stains, tea stains using ammonia scrubbing. Silk and wool carpet, washed with oxalic acid detergent, 10-20 minutes after the wash, or 10% glycerin solution cleaning.Vomiting: one method is to wipe with gasoline, and then use 5% ammonia water wipe, and finally wash with warm water. Another method is to use 10% of ammonia water will vomit liquid wetting, and then use alcohol soap solution wipe, and finally clean with detergent.
Q:Our small office currently has tiles (vinyl, I think). I wonder if it would be beneficial to have floor carpet installed. What are the pros/cons of having that carpet put in? We'll stay here at least a year or two. Every desk (4 right now, will be adding 2 more) has a laptop or computer, monitor. All workstations connect by WiFi so it's just the power cords that are unsightly. We have guests/clients visit the office less than 5 times a month. We often have conference calls -- will the carpet help with soundproofing? And will the carpet help keep the place cool and complement the A/C?
Carpet will sound proof some, but it will also bring a some static electricity. Carpet, a short, commercial grade level loop will hold up well to the use of office chairs running back and forth over it if it is glued down. Also, you could purchase those plastic forms that the chair can roll on which will help reduce the static. For an office, I would not use anything lighter in weight than a 20 oz. or 22 oz. and that's the bare minimum. When your company reaches it's final geographic location, then I would invest in a 28+ oz. carpet. Also, some commercial carpet comes with its own rubber backing attached and it is sealed so that when they glue it down, the glue will not come up through the carpet. Since you are leasing/renting, I would suggest your carpet be power-stretched in over a good 20 oz. pad at the very least. About the wires...At some of the office supply stores you may be able to pick computer wire bundlers. I sometimes see them advertised on TV. They are fairly inexpensive and wrap around several wires at one location thus eliminating the tangle of wires. They are still somewhat visible but better contained and come in a couple of different colors.. As with any AC, it cools off everything in the room not just the people. The more the AC has to cool, the harder it will work. Get my drift? No matter what you chose, there are pros and cons. You just have to be willing to make concessions for either choice. Hope this helps. Good luck and God Bless.
Q:How to disperse the carpet smell quickly
There isn't so much peculiar smell, then use soap to wash, use the same method to sprinkle on the carpet to remove smell. If it is wool! You can also buy some tea, turpentine or alcohol to wipe. Old stains can be washed with detergent firstly, alcohol also is ok, this is more able to eliminate the smell of food residues and pets. Soda can not only absorb moisture of the carpet. Another method is to use 10% of the ammonia water to wet the vomiting fluid: New stains can be washed with warm water or 10% of ammonia solution. One way is to use gasoline to wipe, and then use 5% of ammonia to wipe. Urine stains: Wipe with gasoline. But the ammonia does harm to wool carpet fiber, evenly spread a thin layer of baking soda on the carpet: First using 5% ammonia liquid to clean, oxalic acid can also be used to clean, using cleaner to suck soda completely in the next morning, and then rinse with water, before going to bed, with elegant tea aroma, finally cleaning with detergent: Wipe with gasoline. Using ammonia to clean, and then re-use detergent to wash again, the residual part needs alcohol to wash, and then using soap water with alcohol to wipe. generally the best way is to put in the ventilation place. But if the smell of your carpet is particularly large, it is likely that the manufacturer used poor materials. Ice cream stains: Edible oil, using detergent can be removed. Old stains can be scrubbed by warm water with detergent and ammonia, then rinse with water.
Q:I was wondering how shark steam mop performed on carpets. does it remove stains and spots?
I don't own one, but they appear to be designed for hard flooring such as tile and linoleum. There's only a cloth at the bottom where the steam passes through. I think you'd really be struggling trying to use one on carpet. A better alternative would be a carpet cleaner, Bissell and Hoover are both good brands. Expect to pay $150-300 and up. But for a budget, I love the Little Green Machine by Bissell which is much smaller. Don't try to clean an entire carpeted area with it or you'll be exhausted! But it's great for cleaning upholstery and for picking up spills on carpet, and doesn't take up a lot of storage space. Costs around $100 and you can get it at WalMart and many other retailers. Then if you need to do your whole carpet, you can rent an extractor for around $25 (check with your local supermarket, they probably rent Rug Doctor, etc.). You can get the job done in a day and not have a bulky machine taking up valuable closet space the rest of the year.
Q:How to clean the asphalt on the carpet?
if it is chemical fiber carpet, then brush it dry with a soft cloth and cut the fiber, and then use the hot steam smoked pure wool carpet for ten minutes. you could also cut off the fiber where is aspfalt with a knife.
Q:What material does carpet buy better?
Most wool carpets were made from wool before they could produce synthetic fibers. Wool is an animal fiber, tubular, and therefore breathing. When indoor moisture is long, wool can absorb moisture; it can release moisture when it is dry. This property not only enables wool carpets to regulate dry humidity in the room and prevents burning, but also prevents electrification in indoor air. Wool has a scaly surface, a good moisture absorption, and a water repellent function. So wool is difficult to be contaminated. In addition, the wool is spiral, curly, flexible and difficult to stick together. Wool is also easy to dye all kinds of colors, long service life. But wool carpets are expensive.
Q:how do i make a wool rug?
there okorder
Q:The hotel I work at is doing some major renovations. One of our flooring contractors left spackle foot prints all over our BRAND NEW carpet. How do you remove it without damaging the carpet?
Get as much up as possible while it's dry, once it gets wet it's going to stain and be a mess. You'll probably end up steam vacuuming it up in the end.
Q:so we put the dog in a room, and you know dog scratch at the floor, well my dog scratched so much he pulled off the carpet. the carpet is still together, the padding mostly is too. Is there a solution to this?
Hi okorder
Q:When I vacuum area rugs the vacuum makes an unbearably loud noise. I assume the suction from the vacuum is actually sucking up the rug itself. What can be done about this? The noise is absolutely horrific and it doesn't pick up any dirt while it is happening.
if it has a beater bar it is probably getting stuck the carpet is wrapping itself around it take the carpets outside and beat them unless you have another vac. or setting where the bar isnt going around or use the hose part if there is one.
