Q:earthing of power cable?
Its called the M.E.N. system. It stands for Multiple Earth Neutral. The neutral of an appliance acts as a return, held at a low potential by earthing at each house, using rods into the ground, transformers in the street with earths, and earth mats where required when soils are not conductive. When a fault occurs to earth the low earthing point causes the fuse / breaker to trip. GL
Q:Where can I find a power cable for an HP Photosmart C3180 printer?
why don't you e-mail HP see if they will send you a power cord or advise you where to get one in your area
Q:Will any power cable work for ps3 fat?
If you are talking about the HDMI cable that goes from your HD TV to the ps3 - then you have to find out the resolution that your tv supports and then find a HDMI cable that matches that resolution you can get these cables at major electronics stores It is best to have a HD TV with the HD cable (improves graphics)
Q:How do I connect this unit to my cd player? Splicing power cables? not too detailed in the manual.?
im sure it comes with a power harness(plug) you prob have to do some splicing just connect it t0 the same place where you get power for the cd player your probably going to get a wire harness for your cd player right? just match the wires from your cd to your ipod thingy before you solder or crimp your connections
Q:can an extension cord be used in place of the power cable for 360?
Well I don't know of any extension chord that could replace this fairly crucial component . I think you should look for another one with a friend that maybe has a broken xbox or an old pc.. You might find the piece you're looking for on another machine like a computer or a printer . Look around and see , good luck ;)
Q:how do i hook the power cable to my amp w/o killing myself?
first off, when installing anything electrical on your vehicle, ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST! (either side will work) on your amp you should see a + POS and - NEG and remote. the remote is 12 volt + POS this is your on and off switch. the lead wire that comes from your reciever (usually a blue wire that says remote, or a pink wire that says antennae) then hook up you pos and neg wires. (IT'S IMPORTANT TO INSTALL A SEPERATE IN LINE FUSE BOX TO THE POSITIVE WIRE THAT GOES TO THE AMP. W A 60 AMP OR GREATER FUSE)
Q:do you know if there any router power by rj45 cable not an AC adapter?
If i rember right a CAT 4/5/6 all gve 2.5Volts Nothing close to rune that. And you would not want to pull that load on your mother board that would make it die way FAST If you dont have an outlet you could look in to a battory pack
Q:Another video card and power supply cabling question?
Okay, right off the bat I see a problem with that power supply. Aside from not having a pci-e connection it states it doesn't work with SLI or Crossfire (i.e. Nvidia or ATI). Since you're wanting to get a GeForce card, which works with a mobo with an Nvidia chipset, you'd need a more up-to-date power supply. Second - that card uses 18 amps on the 12-volt rail, and according to the specs on that power supply it runs up to 16 or 17 amps, so the power supply you're looking at isn't powerful enough to support the card. My advice - first make sure your mobo has an Nvidia Chipset. Second, spend a bit more and get a better power supply, and check the voltage - you need at least 18 amps on the 12-volt for that card.
Q:What causes a laptop power cable to be loose?
the only element you do no longer point out is that if the output is AC or DC. If the connectors are the comparable length, as a ways because of the fact the specs pass, evidently like it is going to paintings. How do you tell if this is AC or DC? Many capability adapters in simple terms say it (AC/DC) with the output archives. If yours does, you in trouble-free terms did no longer positioned it on your post. If it would not say, you should seek for a logo. the logo for DC is 3 dots with a good line section over the three dots. For AC you get a tilde (wave image) over the three dots. The pc furnish is definitely is DC. as long because of the fact the different is DC additionally, then pass forward. in case you do no longer see any image, you may desire to obtain a digital meter which will inform you for helpful. good luck.
Q:Where do i put the power cable of a video card on the Motherboard?
you take the power from your power supply to give to the video card. older cards use the 4-pin moly connectors and the new ones use either 6-pin or 8-pin PCI-e, If you don't have the right connectors from the PSU then you can buy an adapter for about $4 at most computer stores
