Q:what does it mean by 4 core cable, 35 mm. can it be used for DC and AC as well. can it be used for a 3 phase AC. what are its advantages and disadvantages? is one core means one phase? can we use 2 core cable for 3 phase AC? am really confused please explain.
A 4 core cable has 4 conductors in an overall sheath. The 35 mm indicates the area of each conductor's copper is 35 square mm. You can use the 4 core cable for 3-phase power (3 wires with a spare or ground). You cant use a 2-core cable for three phase service, unless you are using three 2-core cables with the 2 wires connected in parallel to provide one of the phases. It can be used for AC or DC. TexMav
Q:will my PSone power cable work on my ps2?
I don't own a PS2 so... I don't know. But probably not. Why not just try it out? Or ask a friend to try it out? :|
Q:The green light on the back of the power supply comes on when the power cable is plugged. also, every time i plug in the power cable, the fan on the power supply wants to spin, but it stops. The squeezing noise remains and i push the power button - nothing comes on. Before, it used to come on for a few seconds and then it will turn off by itself. I though it was a virus, so i restarted in safe mode to scan it. The PC stayed on for like 30 minutes and then it turn off by itself. But every since it does not wants to come on. Is the power supply gone? If so, how can still the green button comes on and the squeezing noise remains?please help me out! I need my PC! thanx in advanced!
ROFLMAO What's a squeezing noise?!?
Q:some one told me that cisco get this router without AC power it get the power from the network cable?
Let's just clarify a thing or two: Most networking equipment uses AC power. All routers and switches (or, at least 99% of them) must be powered from an AC wall outlet. However, a wireless access point or an IP telephone may receive power from it's attached ethernet cable. Where does the power come from? The device on the other end of the cable must be supplying power through the cable. This is called PoE (power-over-ethernet) and there is at least one IEEE standard for this, and one Cisco-proprietary standard. Typical devices that can supply power are switches (not all switches) and power injectors. A power injector is a palm-sized device that you insert between a non-PoE switch and a client device to inject power into the ethernet cable. The injector must be wall powered to function. Some routers, particularly ISR (integrated services routers) routers can suypply PoE, too. So, usually routers do not receive PoE. Often, switches provide PoE. Usually, access points receive PoE. Make sense?
Q:What does the cable ZR-YJV22-4 * 16 mean?
Copper core XLPE insulated PVC sheathed flame retardant power cable, three core, nominal cross section 6 square millimeters, rated voltage 0.6 / 1kV, model specification specification: ZR-YJV0.6 / 1KV3X6mm ^ 2.
Q:I have lost the power cable which came with my computer's PSU and after looking online for a while the online shops seem to sell the power cables with little information about whether or not they will function with different PSUs so I am guessing it doesn't matter which one I buy.
minimum watt PSU could desire to be ok given which you do no longer plan on including any peripherals as nicely the basics (a million no longer elementary tension and a million optical tension) and that video card... yet once you have 2 no longer elementary drives or connect a super variety of extra desirable USB units that leech ability out of your device, then you definately will want to have somewhat extra desirable overhead just to be risk-free. 500W or extra useful could desire to be lots. Get one with a minimum of two 12V rails and you may desire to be advantageous.
Q:Does the Corsair CX series CX500W PSU come with an AC power cable?
I all my years, I've yet to see a power supply that doesn't come with a new power cable. Thing is, tho, the power cable is standard in 99.9% of power supplies. One will pretty much work on another.
Q:I have a Maxtor 3200 and I accidentally plug in the wrong power cable for it. I saw the light flicker on then off. I realized my mistake and tried to plug it in its correct cable but now it won't turn on at all. I figure that the wrong cable must of forced too much energy through it. I have a lot of important files on there. I know that fixing it won't be cheap, I fully realize that. However, is there any hope of retrieving my files at all?
the interior and exterior drives themselves are often interchangeable. An exterior tension is only a small case housing a disc tension. The exterior tension case incorporates its very own ability furnish and a connector interface for conventional exterior interfaces on pcs (USB, Firewire, etc...). As for storage, use of an inner disc tension is counseled for the working equipment and applications because of the fact the enter/output is larger. exterior disc drives are extra for convenience than overall performance and are appropriate extra for archives or backups. @sewrobb - The existence expectancy of CD/DVD media relies upon on many aspects and that they are no longer as indestructible as you're able to desire to think of. I incorporate a hyperlink under that advise DVD-R disc have a existence expectancy of approximately 30 years at the same time as manufacturers declare a hundred-2 hundred years. the 2d hyperlink discusses problems with media from some manufacturers the place the disc have lasted much less then 5 years. at the same time as CD/DVD is one answer, do no longer assume that that's indestructible. additionally undergo in thoughts that technologies differences so a stable backup answer bills for differences interior the sphere. I guess archives centers from the early ninety's concept 9 music media replaced into going to be around for a at the same time as too.
Q:I have a desktop PC that when turned on the fans works but it won't beep or display anything on screen. But after I unplug both motherboard power connectors and plug them back in, the PC stats working normally, why is that? Oh, and I tried disconnecting only the external power cable, no luck.
Just a guess, but maybe you had a loose connection to the motherboard. Unplugging, and then plugging the cables back in, just made a solid connection.
Q:I forgot the power cable for my PS3 at a friends house and was wondering if the power cable from my computer would work. It would fit and everything, but would it mess up the system?
Yah, It will work, but your computer wont XD. Use it temporarily and get your cable back A.S.A.P.
