Q:i heard that the motor filter are recommanded to change cos they clog up dust easily n cant wash with water. is there any other cons of dyson machines that you plp can help to list?

I've had a Dyson for over a year and have not had any problems. You have to keep emptying the dirt container because I've noticed the machine will slow down a bit if it is not emptied in a timely manner. I am very hard on vacuum cleaners and I probably should have gotten a less expensive vacuum, but time will tell.

Q:I live with 2 kids and 1 cat so my home is heavily travelled and I can not seem to find a vacuum cleaner that works for more than 5 times. I have a Eureka right now which I was told was great for catching pet hair.It sucks. I need a good vacuum that will pick up cat hair, pine needles from the Xmas tree, etc. One that does not break the bank.

Problem isn't the vacuum, it's the bags. You have to change the bag often if you have a lot of dirt and pet hair. The alternative is a bagless unit.

Q:Can I use my vacuum cleaner to suck up the excess co2 in the air?

Q:My Bissell finally died. I used to love Bissell but that was the worst vacuum I had ever bought. I am looking at canister vacuums now. I see the Kenmore has a high rating as well as the Electrolux and the Miele. I want something that will last and has low noise and cleans carpets wonderfully. Any knowledgeable vacuumers out there?

Myself I like the uprights. They put a little more weight on the carpet and picks up more dirt. Also it has a dirt bag that I can check how dirty my floor is. I vacuum up to three times a day. I has been picking up the dirt the old canister vac did not pick up

we use a rainbow, great vacuum, a little pricey, but we feel it was worth the money

Q:Which vacuum cleaner moves easier for a person in a wheelchair? Are there controls that you have to use your feet for? How do they work in small rooms?

The new dyson dc24 with the ball is super duper light weight and easy to push and turn. I don't know anything about a shark. The dyson is nice because the hose is so easy to pop out, and it has a handle so one could easily clean crevices and corners. The switches are on the main part of the vacuum, right below the handle and above the canister. It would work very well in a small room because it is a small vacuum.

I have a KIRBY G-6. Wouldn't take anything for it. Self-propelled, Sucks up all dirt and will get the stains up too, with the shampoo attachment.

Q:I have waited a year or so to finally get my hands on a hand vacuum cleaner because my mom said we needed to get a good one. Well she finally bought one, but she only bought it because it was ON SALE. I don't know much about hand vacuum cleaners, except this one SUCKS.It's by Sunbeam and it's called quot;Star Elite.It doesn't have a lot of power, only has a small opening to collect dirt etc (1quot;x 1cm) and is horrible at picking up stray pieces of hair. It only also works for 15 minutes and then it has to be charged for 15 hours.The main problem out of all that I have is the lack of power and horribly ability to pick up stray hair off the ground.Does anyone know a hand vacuum cleaner that is certainly better than this?

I bought mine at Lowe's it was not advertised as being on sale, I saved over 100.00. When I went to the front it range up on sale (they are very good, I love mine )
