Production introduction

Hermetically-sealed amorphous alloy distribution transformer adopts the amorphous alloy iron as its magnetic material. It is eco-friendly and energy conservation, which complies with the standard of china energy conservation outline issued by National Economic Committee.

Normal service condition
a.Altitude should not be over 1000m,indoor type
b.Highest ambient temperature should not over +40oC;highest daily average temperature should not over +30oC
c.Highest annual average temperature should not over +20oC,lowest temperature should not below -25oC
*We can supply the transformers which operate in special operating conditions according to user's requirements.

Applicable standards

a.GB1094.1~2-1996,GB1094.3,4,5-1985 Power transformer
b.JB/T10318-2002 Technical parameters and requirements for hermetically-sealed and oil-immersed amorphous alloy distribution transformer.

Character of performance
a.lron's magnetic material adopts amorphous alloy, which consists of materials such as iron and boron, ect.
b.The iron structure of amorphous alloy transformer adopts three phases and five columns.
c.This kind of transformer has same load-loss with S9 series, but the no-load loss of SBH-15 transformers are decreased by approw.75% by comparing with S9 series. It can save electricity and decrease the loss cost.Generally,we can take back the extra investment in four years compared with the silicon-steel iron transformer.
e.Under the normal operation,it does not need to change oil, which decreases the transformer's maintenance cost and prolongs the service life.

Q:A I have a 230V/12V, 3A step-down transformer. What will happen at primary side of transformer if I attach a 12V/5A device at secondary side? Will primary side attributes (such as voltage or current) change?
The primary will pull 261mA. more than likely, you won't see anything like voltage drop on the primary or secondary, but you will see (maybe) thermal stress on the transformer as you're exceeding it's VA rating. If you cool the unit properly, it could last indefinitely.
Q:I LOVE TRANSFORMERS. From the box car days to beast wars. I played ROTF when it came out, it was pretty cool. Then WFC, epic. Now I'm wondering if I should get Dark of the Moon. I don't wanna get it and find out that people don't even play online. Or come to find out that this game is super weak and such. I just like the feeling of attacking then transforming into a jet (Starscream) and flying away. For you transformer fans, is this game a buy or Spend that money on another game situation? Tips and suggestions would be nice. Thanks!
Transformers Dark of the Moon is supposedly like Transformers WFC, it has the same concept, like the transformations, the guns and driving around, so I guess I can say is, if you really liked/loved Transformers WFC, then you should pick up Transformers Dark of the Moon, but watch out. it might be a little bad
Q:Find the transformer ratio of a transformer having 350 turns on the secondary winding and 7000 turns on the primary. What RMS voltage must be applied to the primary of the transformer to develop an open-circuit secondary voltage of 63 V? if a load of 100 ohms is connected to the secondary winding what is the primary current, ignoring resistive and reactive losses in the transformer?
Same results as Electronbut in a different way. 7000 primary turns divided by 350 secondary turns, 20:1 ratio 63 volts on secondary times ratio of 20 1260 volts on primary. 63 volts divided by 100 ohms 0.63 amps on secondary. 0.63 amps on secondary divided by ratio of 20 .0315 amps on primary.
Q:I want to step down a 240Vpeak signal to 24. Anyone know where I can get a transformer to do this? Also does frequency have a dependence on a transformer? The signal I am looking at has around 55Khz frequency. Thanks for your help
You won't be able to find a transformer for that frequency, unless you are lucky. You will have to wind your own. Probably a ferrite core is best, depending on your power level, which you did not mention, and is an important design factor. If this is a very low power signal (you do use the word signal), perhaps a capacitive or resistive voltage divider will be enough. Or search for an audio signal transformer. .
Q:if the transformer converts 240v ac to 8V ac, ratio 30:1 then it should step up the voltage by the same ratio, i.e, 15V ac to 450v ac.but it's not the case !!
It must be using different terminals for step up and step down.
Q:I think they can, especially since there has been a series of some sort in the US and/or Japan series on going since 1996. Here is the track record:The Transformers (1984-1987 season 1-4 in the US)Japan's cotinuation of G1:Transformers: Headmasters (1987)Masterforce (1988)Victory (1989)Zone (1990)Beast Wars: Transformers (1996-1998)Japan's continuation of Beast Wars:Beast Wars Second (1998)Beats Wars Neo (1999)Beast Machines (1999-2000)Transformers: Robots In Disguise (2001)Armada (2002-2003)Energon (2004-2005)Cybertron (2005-2006)Animated (2007-present)This also includes two movies with a third on the way:Transformers: The Movie (1986)Transformers (2007)Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen (2009)They might not as long running and continuous as the Simpson but to me the franchise has a good case for being one of longest running series with all of its incarnations.
Not to downplay Transformers or their cultural impact on the world- but I'm going to disagree. Certainly Transformers is a world renown series, and has stayed active for an exceptionaly long time in a variety of different itterations- but I wouldn't QUITE go so far as to say it is one of the longest running although it is certainly more than most). I am assuming we are just talking about animated series too (since well, this is the animated section) because in the broad scope of ALL TV, then Transformers can't even light a candle to stuff like the Today Show or Sports Center which have both been going on for decades and have tens of thousands of episodes. But even if we are just looking at animated features, I would point to Sazae-san. That same series has been running since the 1960s and has thousands of episodes- and is still ongoing If we are looking at number of variations and types of shows, I'd say Mickey Mouse. He has countless movies and short films, and more than a few lengthy series that have been showing up for decades and decades still to come. And even if we are talking about animated series about robots- Gundam still has Transformers beat. It's been going on since ths 70s and has around twelve 25+ episode series, with dozens of specials and movies, and more than a handful of OAVs that range from a few episode on up to 13 or more. (absurd Gundam graph: anidb /perl-bin/animedb.pl?sho ) So yes, Transformers is quite exceptional- but there are just too many giants out there for me to consider it to be one of the longest.
Q:i heard a new was coming out ,i hope so ,the first two rocked!!!
Transformers 3 is estimated for a July 1, 2011 release.
Q:I read something somewhere once about using small mains transformers as substitute speaker transformers in valve circuits.Suppose I have a 6-0-6V transformer with a 240V primary. That gives a 20:1 turns ratio. So if the secondary is putting out Vs volts at Is amps into 8 ohms, then (neglecting losses) the primary will have 20*Vs volts across it and Is/20 amps through it. But we know that Is Vs / 8; so the primary will appear to have an impedance of (20 * Vs) / (Vs / 160) 3200 3.2k ohms.Am I thinking right? Or will the presence of DC in the primary ruin everything?I'm thinking of using an ECL82 (aka 6BM8) for my first project, as that has both a triode and a pentode with separate cathodes and seems to be available still. Is this a good choice?
The primary is the one that needs the split winding, not the secondary. So you would need a 240-0-240 transformer. Possibly a transformer designed for 120 or 240 volt operation, so you can connect it as a 120-0-120 volt primary. The secondary, where the speaker is connected, would be the 6v or 12v winding. I lost my tube manual (tossed it) long ago. But from memory, I'd use 6L6s for the drivers, they should still be available, and have a lot of power. How well will this work? Don't know. give it a try. .
Q:If you have two 12 volt transformers and if we connect their hot wires together does the voltage become 24 or 12 volts? Please help, thanks so much!lt;3
If you connect them in series, you will get 24 volts. It's not a real good idea to connect them in parallel.
Q:I need a flyback transformer for some plasmatastic experiments. I know a place where someone dumped a bunch of broken TVs and computer monitors. Where should I be looking for a flyback transformer in this stuff and what can it look like?thanks
Follow the high voltage wire (that plugs into the side of the cathode ray tube) back to its location on the circuit board chassis. That donut shaped device is the flyback x-former.
