Performance characteristics
1.The ZGS11 combined transformer consists of high-voltage and low-voltage chambers and transformer tank in the operation chambers.
2.H.V.incoming lines in 10KV cross-linked cables are connected to load switch through knuckle connectors,straight plugs and sleeve sockets.
3.On the high-voltage side,a protection of double fuses(backup current-limiting fuse and plug-in type of fuse are used).
4.There are terminal type and ring net type high-voltage load switches for selection.
They are easy to connect,convert and reliable for power supply.
5.In the low-voltage chamber,a fixed type or drawable type is optional for the low-voltage switch cabinet according to user's requirement.Various low-voltage apparatus,such as metering and protection instruments are available.(Note:In general they are customized)

- Q:Hello, I am using a spark transmitting system that will throw about 40KV at about 5MA. I need to step this way down. What rating should I look for? If a current transformer isn't the way to go, please tell me what I should doThanks in advance
- Current transformer coupling the 40kv line then produce about a few hundred volts depending on how many turns existed in the current transmitter. It needs many such transformers to do different step down. If you require over 5kv per step,current transformer coupling might not be the best way. The better way is control the high voltage 40kv source.Vary the supply source shall do.

- You need to check the breaker fist and the disconnect on the unit. Then after verifying with a Volt meter that you have power. Your going to need to remove the panel on the unit. There should be a circuit board with a LED light blinking (this is assuming you have power), Count the number of flashes the look on the back of the panel or the installer manual. This will give you the fault code of what has failed. To test the low voltage transformer, again you need to verify that the unit has power. You will need to use a volt meter. The other possibility is you have a failed contactor or failed capacitor. To veriy your thermostat is working try turning on the blower (fan) to ON. If the fan comes on then you have power to the unit, and your low voltage transformer is working. Also, if your thermostat has batteries in it and if they are dead this will cause a no heat issue. Heat pumps are not easy to trouble shoot via the internet. I highly recommend you call a professional out to properly fix the unit. Remember IF you decided to go fishing and try and fix it, your dealing with HIGH voltage and sensitive electronics. So, poking around really is not a good idea.

- Its two sets of windings (sometimes more but simple one is two), usually copper with enamel coating. The are both wound on the same iron core. The iron core is laminated to reduce losses. The transformer ratio is determined by the number of windings. A primary of 1000 windings and secondary of 100 windings would give a voltage output 1000/100 10 times less than the input. The same transformer could be used to give 10 times more by putting the voltage into the other winding.
