Skeleton Bucket
Construction of the skeleton bucket is rather unique in the sense that there is absolutely NO bending of the skeleton ribs. Each rib is cut into shape from a flat sheet of steel, avoiding the need for bending, and thus eliminating any unnecessary stress occurring in the material. Both the vertical and horizontal ribs are interlocked before welding. Interlocking is an innovative design which creates unusually strong and rigid joints throughout. And more creditably, it has been field proven.

By bucket type and material, there are common bucket, imitated original bucket, reinforced bucket and rock bucket, which are made from domestic high-tensile structural steel 16Mn (Q345B), in addition, the tooth plate and side edge board of reinforced bucket and rock bucket can be made from domestic high-quality wear-resistant steel NM360 and Sweden ultrahigh-strength wear-resistant steel HARDOX according to customer demands.
By function, there are ditching bucket, grid bucket, cleaning bucket, and tipping bucket, etc. The ditching bucket is suitable for ditching in different forms, and is featured by once forming, no finish and high work efficiency. The grid bucket is used to separate, excavate or salvage bulk materials excellently at a time, and is widely applicable to municipal administration, agriculture, forestry, water conservation and earthwork, and cleaning bucket and tipping bucket are suitable for finishing of slop and other planes and huge desilting and cleaning of riverway and ditches, and the tipping bucket can change the dip angle of cleaning bucket by the hydro-cylinder, which greatly improves work efficiency.

- Q:everyone says that if you open 6 first it will excavate it before the other ones. i always open excavator 6 1st but the excavator nevers turns on or it does #11. plz help
- Where the excavator breaches is largely based on luck, but it is more likely that it will breach tunnels you have opened already. I have also found that opening to the power room at round one will cause the excavator to breach at round one sometimes. Hope this helps!
- Q:Hi,Previous owner build a brick fence. About 2 feet high, 25 feet long, with about 1 foot deep concrete foundation. This was obviously not deep enough since I live in a cold region and now the fence looks realy bad, going from 2 feet high to 1.5 foot high in the middle!What do you think is the best way to remove all that ? (sledge hammer, rent a concrete saw or a jack hammer) ? I'll also have to get rid of all the bricks and concrete so i was wondering if I might as well have someone do it for me with some kind of excavator.Thanks!
- cheapest would be to rent a backhoe and dig it out. Easiest would be to hire someone to do it. Cheaper yet, you could to what my father did and hire an underage relative (moi) give him 50 bucks a sledgehammer and a shovel and say.... 'get rid of it'

- Q:My son just turned 3 and he is obsessed with the movie Up. - My two year old nephew has a mind of his own too. He knows every type of construction vehicle created by man. Excavator, Front end loader, backhoe, cement truck and if you say look see the excavator he will well let you know what it really is. He also knows everything created by John Deere like the gator and stuff. His mom takes him to demolition sites so he can watch these machines go to work. He has never said the word mad. Instead he asks him mom if she is angry. The other day he just started teeing on the floor so his mom got upset and he said momma are you little angry or big angry. Now that he is fully potty trained he looks at his number 2 and lets us know what it looks like. Such as an ice cream cone, a snake, a mushroom. Every week he comes up with something new! I guess it is good he hasn't seen up yet!

- Q:I need to dig up about 400 cubic feet of earth from my backyard (we are moving a retaining wall), and doing it with a shovel doesn't sound very attractive. I can't get a Bobcat or an excavator to the backyard because we are on a hill, meaning 1) there are stairs leading to the backyard and 2) the passageway between the house and the fence is too narrow. So it needs to be some lightweight tool. I don't mind working in the backyard, just don't want to do it by hand.If no tools exist and we'll have to hire day laborers to shovel the soil, how much earth can 1 person reasonably shovel in an hour? We'll need this to estimate the cost.Thanks!!

- Q:We want to level the yard but need some pointers. Our yard has VERY noticable dips, one of which we used as a hill for sleding in the winter! So we want to rent a tractor or something to help dig and mover dirt, rocks, etc. and then make it level without making it suseptible to poor water drainage like creating areas for water to stand. Any tips or things to let us know that we would need? Like what is the best type of tractor to rent a excavator or bobcat??
- Call local excavation and grading contractors in your area. You will get free quotes and better advice. You will find it cheaper this way. Unless you and your husband want to play with big toys! If thats the case,, Get the biggest Bobcat you can find and have fun!
- Q:We are working on a project up North (Nunavut, Cit anada) and there is 45,000 Gallon of JP-4 left there by the USAF in the mid-80's (probably when they turned to JP-8). That's a large volume we would preferably reused than shipped and disposed at high cost in the south. If possible, we are looking forward to mix the JP-4 with additives and use it in the heavy equipment (excavators, trucks, loaders, etc). Some info gathered on the internet mentionned to mix JP-4 with 10W30 motor oil, but we need a precise answer as we cannot afford to damage the diesel engine of the equipment. Thanks a lot for your help !
- With this much fuel, some processing is required. This could be as simple as prefiltering prior to use. In order to not harm your engines, you will need to raise the flashpoint of the JP4.(FP = 0F). Petro diesel has a flashpoint of ~180F. Mixing it with waste oil is a good idea, but proportioning will be an issue. You will need to have both the JP4 and the Oil you intend to yse tested in a local lab. You need to know the following 1. pour point 2. viscosity 3. flashpoint. then Prepare a decade series of mixtures with increasing amounts of oil 1% oil, 10% oil, 20% and so on. plot the flash points for this series and determine the exaact mixture that gives you 182 degrees F. If your JP4 is in barrels the mixing is easier. If its in a tank farm there will be more processing. You will have to deal with algae, water and a lot of sediment. good luck
- Q:why are big construction machines (tractors, dozers, excavators, etc) painted yellow? An overwhelming majority are yellow. Why not red, or some other color?
- I generally agree with visibility, but I believe a shade of yellow is also a trademark for Caterpillar? I have seen a number of on imported (in the US) excavators (trackhoes) that were not yellow.
