- Q:I‘ve finished ceramic tiling my bathroom but not around the toilet hole. How close to it do I have to get? Should I cut one tile in the shape like a ‘U‘ or use 4 small pieces of tile around it. I‘ve use a hand pressure straight cutter for everything and don‘t have a special saw. I can only straight cut or use my nippers.
- Just get as close as you can. The toilet base will be sitting on the tile but you want to make the area around the discharge hole close in case you ever change toilets and the base is smaller than what you currently have. I would also suggest installing a Flange Extender to bring the toilet flange to the height of the tile. These are available at Home Centers.

- Ceramic will be healthier for your hair. Obviously will still be damaging, but not as much as metal. Go to your local hair salon and ask what they recommend for your hair type and what will work best for you, and will be less damaging.

EVen better are tourmaline straighteners. go for ceramic straigtener with tourmaline infused (the plates are coloured) .they are even a step up from 100 percent ceramic plates because the plates dont really have to be 100 per cent ceramicthey just need to be coated will with top grade ceramic the more coloured the plates as well as some black blates (you have to read so see what thee plates are), the more it ie likely to be a tourmaline- ceramic which is ideal.if it is more gold, it is more ceramic, which is fine for thicker hair, the metal coloured is tiitanium. so generally try to stay away. a tittanium- ceramic is better if it is at least a gold plate. SOme black plates are made from black titanium, just as potentially damaging as regular titanium.still titanium is far better than aluminum plates or any drugstore grade iro, because those even if they say are ceramic, are a lowgrade ceramic
