- Sustainable lighting in architecture takes into consideration the best use and optimization of light from natural sources - (ie solar, daytime) and applies this in terms of cost and efficiency, effectiveness and environmental concerns when building. That's my understanding of it. Hope this helps.

- your textbook may have made a semantic distinction amongst different things that emit light (and if so, use the textbook's rules!), but i'd say that if something is emitting photons (even if temporarily) then it's a light source - so YES! OTOH, the glow-in-the-dark-ball is just remitting some fraction of the light it absorbed some minutes ago. in that sense, i can see how your teacher might put such a ball in the category of *not* a pure source, but just a reemitter... then again, light bulbs convert electrical energy into light (and are a light source i think) and your rubber ball is reemitting absorbed light. so, i can see it both ways actually. check w/ your textbook... off the cuff though, i'd say Yes. it emits light, so it's a light source. cheers

- There probably a bulb that is clear with a red tip that causes the string to blink.

- Q: I have a 1998 Chevy Prizm. The dashboard lights and the back tail lights are not working (at night). Is this a cause from a blown fuse or what?I did recently install a stereo, but made sure that the ground wire was grounded and that all the unused wires were capped and taped off (electrical tape). I also had a Viper 350 Plus alarm installed on it by a audio/alarm shop... could there be a problem here?Both the alarm system and the stereo system work completely fine.
- Yes, your tail lights and dash lights on in some cases on the same fuse to notify the driver of the problem with the tail lights by turning off the dash lights, It will be a fuse in the fuse box that will be marked tail lights, or have some sort of usually bad Egyptian symbol. If you have a owners manual it will tell you what one is the tail lights. Worst case scenario you can pull one fuse at a time till you find the blown one Thanks and RMA
- Q: My 1996 mercury mystique brake lights were out on both sides. I replaced both bulbs and they still don't light up, but they do light up when my headlights are on.
- when they light up that,s the tail lights you see ! as for the brake lights check the brake light switch up by the brake pedal, it might need adjusted or replaced ! those bulbs have a double filament and the brake light side is not working ! did you check the brake light fuse in the fuse block ?
- Q: In a car.
- They're the lights on the inside of the roof and/or interior mirror that light up the inside of the car when you press a button or open the door. The reading light is a light with a button usually mounted near the front of the roof or on the interior mirror, it helps the driver and passenger read maps at night. The Glove Box light helps you see what's in the glove box at night, it only turns on when you open the glove box and on some cars will only turn on if the the glove box is open and the lights are on. The dashboard light only turns on when the key is in the AUX or ACC or ON Position, it basically lights up the dashboard with different pretty colours so you can see your revs, engine temp, speed, and fuel level. The Trunk lights helps you see into the trunk due to the fact that they are an enclosed space, they only turn on if you open the trunk. The Auxiliary lights only turn on when the parking lights or low beams are on, they light up the stereo, HVAC, and Electric Windows so you can see the buttons easier at night (when you would have the parking lights or low beams on). They usually light up the same colour as the dashboard.
