Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:anyone know a good Death Metal documentary?
Alkali metals are reactive because of their ionization energies. Ionization energy is the energy required to remove one electron from the atom. Alkali metals have only one valence electron, and if you'll recall all atoms want to be noble gases, i.e. they want full valence shells. Since alkali metals have this one electron in their valence shell, they'll readily give away their one electron than attempt to pull in seven electrons. Since alkali metals have such low ionization energies, and nature likes to use the least amount of energy possible for reactions, alkali metals tend to give up or share these electrons very, very easily. Hence, sodium explodes in water. :)
Q:The Best Metal bands of this decade?
Hang on just a minute, [(Metal) + Oxygen have to react to get (Metal)-hydroxide and hydrogen]. Where does the hydrogen come from. Law of Conservation of Material or Mass - Atoms can be neither created nor destroyed. More correct would be (metal) + (Oxygen) react to give metal oxide. Now the metal oxide can react with water to give the metal hydroxide. 4Na + O2 --> 2 Na2O Na2O + H2O --> 2 NaOH
Q:is graphite a platinum metal?
Heavy Metal: Pantera Progressive Metal: Iced Earth Alternative Metal: System of a Down Doom Metal: Hour of 13 Black Metal: Mayhem Thrash Metal: (early) Metallica Death Metal: Morbid Angel Glam Metal: Twisted Sister Nu-Metal: Slipknot Post-Metal: Pelican Sludge Metal: Eyehategod Stoner Metal: Orange Goblin Power Metal: Helloween Gothic Metal: -never listen to it- Symphonic Metal: Nightwish Metalcore: Killswitch Engage BQ: Favorite band out of your list? Pantera BQ2: What do you think Y!A needs more of? Cowbell BQ3: cowbell.
Q:I can haz sum good death metal bandz?
You're confused. There are games called Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, and there are also games called Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid 2. Metal Gear is really one of the most complicated stories out there, and jumping in is really not a great idea. There are two ways to play the franchise, either in chronological order, or in the order that they were released. In chronological order, the games go: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance In order of release, the list goes: Metal Gear Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Personally, I'd recommend playing in the order in which they were released so as to avoid confusion. Good luck!
Q:Best band from each metal subgenre?
I go Glam Metal over Thrash any day BQ (I have a bunch) - Poison, Motley Crew, White Lion, Twisted Sister, Ratt, Quiet Riot, Cinderella, Spinal Tap... BQ2 - Metallica is as far as I get
Q:Black Metal?
Well it gets respect. Not as much maybe. They called 70s metal bands 'acid rock' because they were so hard to listen to. (like Black Sabbath) I guess that's why now. I guess the general public likes music with no musical value (you know the bands I'm talkin bout)
Q:What are the similarities between metals and non-metals?
I`m no pro but I`m pretty sure that most metal is collected from deposits in the earth, and then fused together by whatever means (melting, pressing...?) It doesn`t come in sheets, that`s for sure :) I remember doing a project in school where we collected a bunch of soil from the schoolyard and then tried to find and identify types of metals in the soil. A metal is essentially an element, right?... so ya it must be fused together after a large sum of it has been collected
Q:What is exactly Nu metal music?
False. Metals can undergo oxidation-reduction reactions that involve a change in their oxidation state. Also, some metals (like Ru) tend to favor multiple oxidation states over just one.
Q:Finnish Black Metal Bands?
According okorder.com
Q:How do you keep your metal jewelry to stop smelling like metal?
What older/classic bands/genres do you think had the most influence on modern heavy metal? What do you think defines heavy metal music? Who do you consider a heavy metal icon? Do you prefer classic heavy metal, 80's hair metal, speed metal, modern heavy metal, death metal, or black metal? (there are other sub-genres that I didn't feel like listing haha) Which do you think is the most influential?
