Calcium Silicon Powder

1. Description:

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a stable compound; it is supplied in the form of solid with approximate melting point of 1245°C and boiling point 1800°C in normal atmospheric pressure.

Solubility in water reacts with moist gas and water.

Silicon Calcium Alloy is a potent deoxidizer and desulfurizer utilized in the production of high grade steels. Although Silicon itself is a powerful deoxidizer, Calcium is by far more powerful. In addition, Calcium Silicon is used to control the shape, size and distribution of oxide and sulfide inclusions improving fluidity, machinability, ductility, and impact properties of the final product. Calcium Silicon can be obtained in lump or powder form. The most widely used method for intergraded steel applications is in the form of cored wire. This is mainly because calcium has a low density and high reactivity in the ladle making it difficult to introduce and retain in the melt. Cored wire eliminates these variables.

3. Application:

(1) Silicon calcium alloy is an ideal deoxidizer and desulfurizer.

(2) CaSi is generally used in manufacturing steel of high quality and low carbon, and the same as the production of stainless.

(3) CaSi is also served as a starting material for other special alloys, such as nickel base alloy and titanium base alloy.

(4) Silicon Calcium Alloy can also be used as the inoculant of cast iron and the additive in the production of nodular cast iron.

Q:Question about metals..?
Dude there are tons of people who are black and love metal. Look at the following bands: Oceano Animals As Leaders Kill Switch Engage Ice-T (he was in an american hardcore band) tons of black artists in the genre man. the band living coulour was an 80's metal band made up of all black dudes
Q:Similarities and differences between conduction in metals and non-metals?
Metals will weaken acids so the pH will get higher. e.g. dilute HCl pH =1 add metal e.g. magnesium pH MgCl2 solution = 7
Q:Can i stain metal???????
Metal as in heavy metal? The only things I can twell you without specifics is that metal evolved from blues and punk music Death metal vocals evolved from thrash metal vocals And Nu metal is not metal, it is modern hard rock.
Q:How many metal gear solids are there?
Physical metals are actually a pretty crummy investment and should at most be a very limited part of your portfolio, if included at all. A well-diversified stock portfolio (with no metals) will serve you much better over the long term.
Q:Has metal influenced other genres?
Yes, and everything else inbetween.
Q:why people think the Metal Gear Series is called Metal Gear Solid Series?
not all new metal is rap mixed with rock. and most of the bands that started that way, arent doing it now. i like new metal. metal is metal. it all makes me happy and i think people need to get off the i hate nu metal bandwagon. give it up and grow up. a lot of it (but not all) is good stuff and very heavy. so if you dont like good music thats very heavy then you're not much of a metalhead in my eyes. now are you?
Q:What is groove metal?
Metal is made from metal rich ores (rocks and minerals) that are mined from the earth. It isn't at all practical for an individual to attempt to refine metal from rocks. You could look into bronze casting by taking a sculpture class. In bronze casting you melt down bronze and pour it into a mold. This requires a lot of training and specialized equipment. Hope this info helped.
Q:Give the difference between metals and nonmetals?
all metal detector can detect metals. what is different is their performance
Q:identity of metal question?
The term metal is a comprehensive term. It used to be defined by bands like Warrant and Ratt. Like nearly every element of our world, the genre has evolved.
Q:Metal Building Roof.....!!!!?
1) Copper conducts electricity so its a metal and it is ductile (it can be drawn into wires) 2) Helium has a very low boiling point (hence why it is a gas at room temperature)so its not a metal 3) Sulphur is not a metal as it can't conduct electricity or heat 4) Gold is a metal as it is easily malleable (1 cm^3 of gold can be hammered into a circle foil of 5m) 5) Aluminium is a metal as it is shiny When saying why something is a metal, look at their general properties: Metals are: - Malleable - Ductile - Shiny when cut - Sonourous (ringing sound when striken) - Usually of high density - Conduct electricity and heat - Usually have a high melting point (except alkali metals and mercury and a few others) So when you look for a non-metal, compare against the properties that make a metal. I hope this helps!
