- The difference is in the headlights. The CJ 7 has a narrower set of headlights. You can also tell by the bumper. The CJ 7 has a metal bumper, whil the other doesn't.

- Indoor or Outdoor? KBS Coatings makes a RustSeal in clear. It is a moisture-cured urethane that draws moisture out of the metal and atmosphere dries to a rock hard nonporous finish to completely stop rust. The Clear is UV sensitive and may yellow in time but not to the extreme of shellac or lacquer would. Clear can be topcoated with any opaque paint system to avoid this... or perhaps just choose Grey RustSeal. Bottom Line: If stopping rust is the priority, you need RustSeal on the bare metal to block its pores and seal it from moisture oxygen. The paint goes on in thin covering coats. An 8 oz. can will cover 12 sq.ft. with 2 coats.
- Q: I am a 26 year old guy who just rented a great condo and my room has a patio. However, the patio door is a big, ugly, and metal. I know nothing about design, decorating, etc. I cant paint it, and cant hang any kind of blinds since it needs to be able to open... Any ideas?

- Q: I mean when weather is dry, and I am about to enter a store, I can see it coming! that huge electrical charge that was being built inside my body! I become 100% sure I will be shocked as soon as I touches that metal handle, so I approach the handle with my hands, and quickly back up my hand again before it touches! then try to catch the handle again then back it up again! like 3 times back and forth in one second till I have the courage to touch it and get my lovely shock! and open the door! Am I the only one who do this? are you guys touches it with confidence even if you get shocked? are you brave enough to not care about that 2000 volt charge? I know it is not fetal thing, and I read all things about electrostatic and how to avoid it and all that bla bla bla.. but in reality, some days, you cant escape your fate!!
- I have a simple solution for you (so that you no longer have to approach doors in a funny way) I hate getting shocked just as you do. Hold a metallic object in your hand. As you approach the door, touch the metal object to the door handle first. The spark will jump between the metal that you are holding and the door handle. You will not feel the spark at all because of the large surface area between your hand and the metal object. Just about any metal object will do, even a paperclip. Try it! You will no longer have to walk around wondering if you are the only one who does funny things when touching doors.
- Q: After a windstorm here in the northeast, my backyard shed doors blew right off! They are bent and unusable. Ive looked online but cant find anyplace that sells such a thing. - The only possible way to get identical matching doors for your building is to determine the name of the manufacturer, the model number, and/or the style and dimensions. It then MAY be possible for the manufacturer to sell you the replacements. Another option would be to build a set of wood framed, or plywood doors to fit the opening, and mount with hinges to the opening edges which you've reinforced with 2x4s. And another option would be to use a hammer, some wood scraps, or square metal bar stock, and a couple of 2x4 and/or 2x6 wood blocks for backup, and just like an auto-body tech, re-straighten the doors enough to fit and operate properly. They may not be pretty to look at, but they could be made functional.
- Q: Ive read the installation instructions and they seem easy enough to install if the door was wood but I just dont know about this metal door. Would a jigsaw cut through a metal door?
- Usually, a metal door is two thin pieces of metal with a foam core. You'll need to get special saw blades for going thru metal, and make sure that your jigsaw is rated to cut metal as well (high speed). Make sure to get some drill bit (metal rated) to drill the pilot holes.

- You forgot about replacing the drywall, taping, mudding, and painting. Depending on how big the wall is that will need to be painted, you could be looking at up to $1000 in labor. It depends on what your labor rate is in your area. The changeover can be done in about 5-6 hours, but the finish work takes awhile. Hope this helps.
- Q: Our last home had a wooden garage door, so this is new territory for me. The paint on our metal garage door peeled off from the string of hurricanes we had a few years back (Im in east FL). Its now gotten to the point where every time it rains, a little bit more paint peels off. Ive been trying to do some research online, but Ive really only found bits and pieces of info that dont really help me. I was told that I dont need to prep the door because the paint will stick to the original door finish... but my door has exposed metal where there is no finish. What kind of prep work do I need to do? Does the door need to be stripped completely and sanded? How about primer and paint, what should I be looking for? HELP ME.
- clean the door very well and just lightly sand to prep for paint they sell a metal primer by rustoleum if its only small areas then you can by it in a spray can and hit those areas that are bare with a couple coats of the primer . if you dont have a sprayer and you want to brush it on then youre gonna want to do probably 3 thin coats never try to put too much paint on all at once and when you buy the finish paint buy the right solvent to thin the paint a little to be able to spread it on more evenly if you want to rent a sprayer or i would recommend a cup gun which is a small handheld sprayer that is hooked up to an air compressor and has a cup attached to the gun where the paint goes in.. hope this helps.
