- Q: I'm getting one on Saturday, I already have double lobe piercings in each ear, and a flesh tunnel in my right, but i've heard cartiliage piercings hurt alot more than a normal lobe one?
- I just got mine done last weekend, I wont lie its worse then a regular lobe piercing but every body reacts differently. The second hole definitely hurts worse then the first, but for me after the fact mine didn't hurt at all, some people say it throbs or burns but mine never did any of that. Good luck :)

- I've passed out getting shots before! Almost to the point where I had a seizure. And I got mine done, and I thought I was going to pass out again! But my lady was really nice. It really doesn't feel like anything more than a lobe piercing, but you feel a bit of a pinch the second time it goes through. Nothing more! You'll be fine. - Q: I got my industrial pierced about three days ago. The shop I wanted to go to closed so I went to another one that cost a bit more. The guy who pierced it said to only clean it with warm water, but when I got my helix, tounge webbing and angel bites I was told that all new piercings need disinfectant. What are some disinfectants I could use and am I right by doing this or should I listen to the piercer?
- Well you definitely need to use more than just warm water to clean it. Try using something like Provon soap and do sea salt soaks at least twice a day to keep it clean.

- Yeah, your body is reacting to having a giant metal rod through it =] Its likely that in your sleep youve rolled onto it and that has caused the piercing to bleed. You can try putting a pillow next to you to aviod you rolling over. Otherwise dont sweat it just keep cleaning twice daily and youll be fine.
- Q: Basically iv had my scaffold for around 2 years, it is completely healed. About six months ago i had to take the single bar out and put two separate bars in, i went to the shop i had it done at and they sold me two clear labret bars, at the time i did not realise that these were much thinner than my normal bar and because after time they became brittle and discoloured i changed them to two metal eyebrow bars as a short term solution, i need some advice on what to do regards changing back to a single scaffold bar, i would like to freely be able to change between a single bar and two bars/hoop, but im sure it would cause too much damage to my ear and too much pain to keep stretching it to a scaffold bar to then let it go down and stretch it again i will be needing a single bar at weekends not in the week, what should i do?
- To return to the bar, you'll need to go to your piercer to have it reinserted using a small taper. Switching it back and forth from a single bar to hoops is absolutely not recommended because the hoops have a curve and will cause the bar to not fit properly because it will change the angle of the piercing, you can use straight barbell studs that are the same gauge as your single bar though without complication.
