Q:Does it matter what size your ear is when you get an industrial/scaffolding piercing?
The size of your ear does not matter. The proper placement and jewelry length do.
Q:i work in construction.
Yes for ur muscles but not ur heart muscles which require sustained workouts.
Q:Okay, I'm wanting to get my scaffold pierced, I'm just curious on how much they hurt, and how much they cost. Another thing, how long is it before it heals?
One thing you want to watch out for is that if you have it done too far down, it will make your ear stick out because the bar goes right over the part of your ear that protrudes. But really, especially if you have had other parts pierced, it's not bad at all. Alot of the time they even numb it for you! You can't sleep on it, you have to be careful with your hair, and you can't change the bar for awhile but other than that it is way worth it! There is minor swelling in the first few days and a little bit of bruising but the small discomfort is small price to pay, now it looks awesome and I'm glad!!
Q:im 15 and need to start thinking about a career. my uncle is a scaffolder and owns his own company and seems to be very well off, so scaffolding: what qualifications do i need? average pay? and infomation about how to get into the trade? thank you
Surely it's logical to ask your uncle for advice
Q:Requirements for the current bowl frame. What is the vertical distance, the horizontal distance and the step distance
The specification of bowl buckle frame is JGJ 166-2008 "safety technical specification for construction of bowl buckle scaffold"
Q:What do people think of scaffold piercings on guys? thinking of getting one?
tell me what the scaffold piercing is, and i will tell you what i think of it...
Q:I really wanna get my scaffold done but I've watched video's of it being done on youtube and I'm absolutely terrified now...a lot of the people getting it done screamed :/ .. please can anyone tell me how painful is it to get done? and afterwards? and also is it always done with a needle??Thanks in advance
Yes, all piercings should be done with a needle. Guns are cattle tagging pieces of poop and are inadequate for any piercing. Everyone has a different pain tolerance but if it's something you really want it'll be worth the pain, and piercings only last for a second and it's done. I imagine it would be quite painful though as it's cartilage which always tends to be a little stingy when being pierced.
Q:im in the midwest
when we took osha classes , we were told there was no such thing as an osha approved plank...but i see the osha stamp on some so i dont know what to think...rough cut 2 in. hemlock will hold anything you can safely put on a scaffold...
Q:I'm wanting a scaffold piercing so i can wear it with a bar or 2 rings. Could i get it PIERCED with the 2 rings to begin with or do i have to have a bar for the first few weeks/months?
Generally a Scaffold piercing is pierced with a needle and a bar runs through both piercings. You can get it done with BCR's, however it would be much more difficult to align the piercings up because of the curvature of the rings. Also the Scaffold can be pierced with PTFE or BIOPLAST, these are both lightweight and flexible and will take the pressure off of the piercing. You can also have the scaffold done with 2 separate Barbells, but the most common way is with one long Scaffold bar. These are usually around 38mm long and 1.6mm thick. Cartilage piercings can take quite a while to heal, anything from 12 weeks to a year to completely heal. If in any doubt, talk to your piercer first about your options.
Q:I've been wanting an industrial piercing for quite a while now, and thankfully I convinced my parents to let me get it done about two weeks ago. We were on vacation in Florida last week and my mom said I could get it done there if I wanted, so we went into a tattoo shop and asked about it. They told me something I'd never heard before, that they would pierce the holes with hoops and in about a month I could put the barbell in. The piercers told me it would heal a lot easier this way and if the barbell was put in right away I'd end up taking it out because of the pain. This makes sense of course, but I have NEVER heard of it being pierced this way, and once the holes heal, won't they be off in aligning the bar with the piercings, causing me even more pain? They told me if I get it pierced in my home town to tell the piercer to do it the way they suggested but I'm not sure at all. I could take the pain if that was the only issue, but if it would heal better.. I'm not sure. Help? Thanks!
i have a friend who got that done, and i am also wanting to get that done. she says it was a smart move to put the hoops in, and then the barbell, because it does reduce a lot of the pain. anyway, about the healing better, i didn't know that, but if that is the case, better safe than sorry.
