Q:i saw that history of middle ear surgery is a disqualifying factor. will they check records from when i was a toddler?
I wish you and your family a beautiful day. Peace, from Los Angeles.
Q:Just curious, when there is only a bit of toothpaste left, I have to squeeze little by little from bottom up. But then after using it, I'll have to do the same thing next time around. Obviously the toothpaste has to settle down the tube. Why and how does it do that?
The plastic material has internal stresses that retain the shape it was cast in originally. Since it is attached to a round head it tends to form a sort of flattened cone. The toothpaste moves back up the tube to fill the available space as it is a type of really thick fluid. The shape may also lead to the toothpaste moving upwards due to capillary action (similar to how water moves up a very thin straw) To combat this effect, you can buy a little squeezy thing that rolls over the tube to prevent the toothpaste from moving backwards, or you can fold/bend it over as you use it like many people do. I store mine upright on the cap so the toothpaste settles at the end I squeeze it out of. The tube also uses less counter space when you store it upright as compared to laid over on its side.
Q:My friend gave me a bunch of mortars and i have never set off mortars before and i was wondering what you could use for a tube. Also how long does it need to be? first answer gets voted best by me

Q:i recently rescued a fish tank from a house move which had 3 gold fish and the fish are fine but the pump is missing a lengh of tubs for the air bubbles i have been looking around for a replacement tube but was wondering is the pipe on the motor is a standard size as as i dont know how to measure it i have seen some tubing from OKorder but i rather check first as i dont want to buy the wrong one the fist tank is a Marina Cool 21L Blue the tank was also missing a light which i recently purchased a Marina LED Light Unit the motor works fine as long as the air intake is just above the water line the pipe is about 1/2 inch in lengh the motor is submersable any advice would be greatly appericated stephen
using standard size plastic tubing like other air pumps on the market (about 5-6mm in diameter)
Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to corrosion?
Yes, plastic tubes are generally resistant to corrosion.
Q:How do you prevent plastic tubes from becoming discolored?
To prevent plastic tubes from becoming discolored, it's important to avoid exposing them to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals, as these can cause discoloration over time. Storing them in a cool and dark place can help maintain their original color. Additionally, regular cleaning with mild soap and water can prevent any buildup or stains that may contribute to discoloration.
Q:Would exsanguination happen? Say the plastic tube is inserted and then left ignored. Blood flows out through the tube.Would the blood clot in the tube? Would the vein involved constrict and cut off flow? Would the patient die?
It's unlikely that the patient would exsanguinate, especially if we are talking about a peripheral IV and not a central line. Yes, it is possible for blood loss to occur. Yes, blood can clot in the tube. This is what heplocks and flushes are for--to prevent this kind of thing when you don't have anything flowing through the IV.
Q:This will be more efficient since right now the bed covers the vent, just wanted to somehow route the cool air away from under the bed so my roommate won't have to turn the air really cold to cool down at night. Thanks in advance.
Also okorder /..
Q:i just received my lebra car hood protector that ordered off OKorder and it has on it these tube things and i dont know if im supposed to take the plastic tubes out and what they're for...
If the tubes are on the top(hood side) of your bra or protector usually one on the right and one one the left top side these are there as air dams to help keep your covering from flapping in the wind.... Hopefully my description is what you were trying to describe , and hopefully I have been able to answer your question correctly for you....jimboz
Q:Have you ever noticed it becomed increasingly difficult to stop unwanted back flow of paste towards the sealed end of the plastic tube. Unlike the earlier metallic tubes which could be rolled up from the bottom and be self retaining, the plastic tubes cannot be wound up into a permanent situation but always unroll to a flat state. I have ideas for a simple solution involving no external gadgetry to fiddle around with, maybe you have ideas too?? Keep it simple. Thanks
You know, if you found the answer to this you could win a nobel prize.
