- Q: I still have the fork tubes mounted to the bike. I have removed the cap, spacer tube, washer, spring, damper bolt (from the bottom of the tube) and removed the damper and short spring. I have pried the dust cap (rubber seal) and slid it all the way up. There is a piece of plastic? or nylon? that is blocking the circlip(I assume). I do not have a manual for this bike but I can not get one for a few days, so the help would be great!!
- Just pry the plastic ring up (nothing is holding it). Perhaps it's stuck to the foam ring underneath it. After you remove the circlip, the the fork tube and lower will have to be pulled apart. The fork seal is in very tight. Hold the tube in one hand and the lower in the other hand. Push the forks together. Yank them apart with force (a bushing inside of the forks will hit against the seal like a slide hammer). They won't come apart in one pull. Push them - in - OUT -in - OUT - in - OUT

- I would recommend Tapp Plastics ( they are nation wide) they can recommend the best place to get it or look up plastic manufactures about 3 dia. clear acrylic tubing. I owned 6 ferrets and we had that and they loved it. I would also recommend a cheaper route of black PVC tubing from your hardware store it cheaper A LOT CHEAPER and they will it love because they will be able to play hide and seek in it and be able to hunt for each other like cat and mouse games. If you are going to make long sections of tubing cut escape holes every few feet 1 for air and if the ferret needs to get out quickly. clean the cut edges with course grit sand paper 60 or 80 grit will do. Do not use glue of any type as they will chew on the tube if you want to join 2 tubes use the flexible corrugated tubing you can get from the hardware store a little bigger than the tubing.. good luck and I hope I was helpful.

- You use those squarish type paper clips the ones that you would use at work to hold a stack of papers together. Not regular paper clips they won't hold the plastic. They are usually black and come in a few different sizes. Or you can also use those potato chip clips they also work just as well, the small ones not the big ones. Cutting off the end just gets too messy.

- You need to give more detail. Rigid or flexible? Resistant to solvents? Does it have to bear any pressure? Thin walled or thick? UV stable? Cap to be gas- or liquid-tight ? Does 'clear' mean not tinted or just transparent?
