Can be inside or outside rib

Rigorous calculation to meet full silo strength safety

Wind Ring

Hot Dip Galvanized

For additional support for higher wind areas, the wind ring is attached directly to the stiffeners. The rings strengthen the silo providing reinforcement against damaging wind.

China National Standard with Quality Report

Rigorous calculation to meet the anti-wind needs for sea port area or windy area

Manhole

A standard manhole door is located in the second ring of the silo. Double size door with strong frame and block system.

Q:A silo is a composite shape of a cylinder and a pyramid. If the silo is filled completely, what is its total storage capacity if the height is 60 feet and the cone-shaped portion has a height and radius of 15 feet? (Note: The height of the silo is 60 feet which is the combined height of the pyramid and the cylinder.)How do I do this problem?
The first thing I would do is figure out how high the cylinder is. We know the cone is 15 feet and the combined height is 60 feet, therefore the cylinder if 45 feet. we also know that the radius is 15 feet, therefore to figure the volume of the cylinder, we combine the area of the circle TIMES the hieght using pi = 3.14 pi*height^2 = area of circle area of circle*height = volume of cylinder 3.14*15^2 = 3.14 * 225 = 706.5 Sq Feet 706.5 Sq feet * 45 Square feet = 31,792.5 Cubic Feet (or pi * 10125 sq feet) The volume of the cone is figured the same way, with one added step. but we'll get to that last. From the question we know the radius is again 15 feet, and the height is 15 feet. The radius is the same as the radius of the cylinder, so we know the radius is 706.5 square feet. we multiply this by the height (15 feet) then since it is a cone, we divide by 3 Cone = 1/3 height * radius cone = 15 feet/3 * 706.5 sq feet cone = 5 * 706.5 sq feet cone = 2119.5 cubic feet the combined volume of both is Volume of cylinder (31,792.5 Cubic feet) + Volume of cone (2119.5 Cubic feet) = 33,912 cubic feet
Q:build a second nuke, and drop 2 nukes with 2 ghosts at once? Or do I need 2 command centers with 2 silos?
Once a command center becomes disconnected from a nuke silo, the silo becomes inactive and not owned by any player. Therefore, you need to have 2 command centers with 2 silos attached to drop two nukes simultaneously.
Q:A 1? oz. bottle of roll-on deodorant has a height of 4 in. and a radius of ? in. Find the surface area of the bottle if the bottle is shaped like a silo. Use 3.14 for π.Altitude of a launched object. The altitude of an object, in meters, is given by the polynomialh + vt ? 4.9t^2where h is the height, in meters, at which the launch occurs, v is the initial upward speed (or velocity), in meters per second, and t is the number of seconds for which the object is airborne.
1. It's a silo, which is a cylinder and a hemisphere. The height is 4 inches, from the bottom of the cylinder to the top of the hemisphere. So, the height of just the cylinder is 3 and a quarter inches, or 13/4 inches (Because 3/4 of it is the hemisphere). The surface area of a cylinder is denoted by 2*PI*r*L, where L is the height and r is the radius (Same radius as the hemisphere). Thus, for the cylinder part, you get 2*3.14*0.75*3.25 ~ 10.6 inches. The hemisphere is just a half of a sphere. The surface area of a sphere is 4*pi*r^2, and so the surface area of a hemisphere is 2*pi*r^2, or 2*3.14*0.75^2, or around 3.5 inches. Thus, you add the two together and you get that the silo is 14.1 inches in surface area.
Q:Do you think that an individual can be held responsible for this accident? Why or why not?Can the corporation be held liable? What do you think appropriate sanctions are in this or similar cases?
I'm going to assume that you're talking about the buried in grain incidents. If you're not, ignore this answer. I think that both the corporation AND individuals can be held responsible. The corporations should have safety policies in place, and they should build the silos to be safer to work in. The individual overseers have the responsibility to follow safety guidelines, like not having workers in the silos when the machinery is running, and having proper safety equipment on hand and ready to use. The supervisors AND the companies need to be sure to hire workers that are of age to work at that job, and to train the workers well. The ultimate responsibility lies with the company, though, unless a supervisor is ignoring the company's rules and safeguards. As for sanctions, for the first incident, the company should have to pay for wrongful death. Second incident, wrongful death plus loss of any government contracts, or they have to shut down for 2 weeks if they don't have government contracts. Third incident, all of the above plus firing and replacing the supervisor and his/her manager, and the manager of that manager, because obviously the management isn't taking safety seriously.
Q:Why should i ride the silly silo at adventureland the amusment park?
Man, I have not been to Adventure Land in 25 years. The silly silo, the tornado, and the bumber cars are about all I remember. Oh ya, they had a car driving thing on a figure 8 track too.. And a shooting gallery. Anyway, it is pretty cool. If you don't look up you will not realize that you are spinning. It pastes you to the wall so it feels like you are laying down, looking up at the people on the other side. It is fun.
Q:what do we mean by silos???????/?
silos are basically storage vessels. there are two kinds of silos. the first one are silos used in farms where they store grain and other stuff in them. the other type of silos are for military purposes; containment chambers, usually underground, where missiles are housed and can be launched from. you can check them out in games like red alert.
Q:I have an opaque silo with Natural Latex inside, and need to know at anytime how much of the material is left inside the silo.
Determine the weight of natural latex per gallon. Put an industrial digital scale at the bottom of the silo. Bingo.
Q:A goat is tethered, but is otherwise free to graze in the space she can reach. The barn's front wall is tangent to the silo at the corner. The anchor to the tether is at the point of tangency. The silo has a circular base with radius of 10 feet. The tether is exactly long enough so it wraps around the silo exactly once - that is, the length of the tether equals the circumference of the silo. Calculate the grazing area of the goat. The barn wall is 65 feet long.I do not even know where to begin, please help amp; explain steps???
Need diagram to do this question , i can't guess the correct diagram !
Q:The top of this grain silo is half of a sphere. If you wanted to paint the sides and the roof, how much surface would you have to cover. Measurements are in ft round to the nearest 1ft^2 _Radius of 8 / #92; I I I I I I height of 43 I I I IPlz I really need help on this question... Im begging someone to help me Out Please!!!
do you have an equation for a sphere?
Q:It is proven fact that the CF have the best trained soldiers as a whole military than any other country. Sure, other countries have separate divisions of military that may be better trained than our soldiers, such as other spec op divisions, but our training surpasses any other military training in the world and our entire military gets that training, we're better.
For starters...SHOW us your proven fact. Last I checked there was no internationally recognized body or standards that rated military forces or their training. Second...having worked with the CF...a LOT (I was a cross border training liaison for 3 years) I can attest to the fact of their competence and professionalism. In fact you put a CF Soldier and a US Soldier in the same uniform doing the same military job and you wouldn't even notice a difference. You can attach a US unit to a CF unit or vice verse and plan and conduct operations without a hitch. Seen it happen many times, both training and combat.
