I would not go swimming. It may cause an infection if you are dialating. Doctors usually dont recommend that. Also, when you get your membranes stripped do a lot of walking. Stripping membranes dont always work. They may have to do it again at a future appt. If the baby is not ready the baby wont come. But walking helps, a lot of walking. You can also try raspberry leaf tea. Dont try castor oil, it dont always work and it can make the baby have a bowel movement in utero. Good luck.
