All I really want is a functional phone that has T-Mobile as a carrier. So what is the cheapest T-Mobile carrier phone?

- It just means you're connecting to an ATT tower instead of to a T-Mobile one. Sometimes that happens because there's an issue with the T-Mobile tower and your phone can't connect to it. (Like if they're working on it right then or it's just busted, which seems to happen often.) If it's giving you better service, that's awesome, so don't bother to ask T-Mobile to put you back on their towers (tech support can do that I think). Roaming on other towers is included on T-Mobile so it's not going to affect your bill at all.
- Q:Can i use any T-Mobile phone on their website with a prepaid plan??? i would like to switch to a cheap, good cell service that has nice phones, but im puzzled. prepaid seems to be the best way, now i just have to decide which mobile phone company prepaid is the best. there is verizon, t-mobile, alltell, sprint/virgin mobile. alltell isnt in my area. sprint/virgin mobile work horrible in my area. so its then down to verizon and t-mobile. verizon prepaid is very expensive, so then im left with t-mobile. - no i think there is a select few such as samsung tgh 2619 samsung blast [like chocolate] sidekick II (135.00) nokia open faced phone their is a samsung phone that is like slvr with a camera for about 40-50 dollars + more minutes $25 - 130 mins $50- 400 mins $100 - 1000 mins each txt message is 1 minute all your muintes rollover it is ur best bet for prepaid phones!1

- Yes, its cheaper for you to buy phone in Malaysia and Taiwan, where Malaysia is approx. 10 to 20% cheaper than in Taiwan. Your phone should work with any sim-card, including your sim-card from T-Mobile. But for that, you have to purchase a phone without any telco contract and you have to buy from indepedent phone sellers at their shops and its easy to find in Malaysia and less so in Taiwan. As for whether it will work in Czech Republic, you should consult T-mobile and not the handphone seller, cause its more towards the service provider on its roaming network connectivity, rather than the connectivity of the mobile phone. Consult T-Mobile for more detail about it.

- There is no such thing as free lunch. If you stay with either Tmobile or any other provider for another year they give you a free phone. but the catch is that you have to pay the full price plan of say ?20.00 per month. The way to do it is what I do.So here is my idea and it works and you get more than just one free phone. I was on 18 month price plan of ?20 per month. I rang them and told them that I do not want a new phone and asked that if i stayed with them for another 18 month then how much discount they would give me. The lady said ?6 discount per month( so i would pay ?14) a saving of ?108 over 18 month. And i said i will think about it. I then rang a day later and spoke to a different person and he gave me a discount of ?12( so i pay only ?8 per month) a saving of ?216 over 18 month. And the free phone was only ?89 phone. So i saved ?216 and then bought the phone for ?89(SAMSUNG D9000i) on PAYG. So in fact I could buy 2 phones and still save money. And finally never accept one answer.Ring them again and the chances are that you will speak to another person who is more helfulp

- First of all, make sure you follow the phone's user's manual on how to insert a battery. If your phone is plugged into the wall, unless either a) that outlet is bad, b) the cord for your phone is bad, c) the battery is bad or was put in backwards, upside down or whatever, or d) some combo of a, b, and/or c, your phone should at least show something of a display. I think you need to use another phone and call the company's tech/customer support line and have them help you. I heard that a warranty can be voided if the phone is put in wrongly or something like. Anyway, hope this helps.
