- Q:I live in an appartment building and the guy downstairs is complaining of noise but won't say what it sounds like or when it is. I'm assuming its coming from our bed when having sex. We have soft laminate floors and don't want to put a rug down as that would ruin the look of the room.Are there any other ideas/ways to soundproof the bed? My knowledge of physics isn't great... Would putting anything under just the legs of the bed make a difference?
- convert to one of those systems where you dont have a boxspring ir whatever its called that alot of people have under the mattress. ours just has a bunch of small boards that go right across that rest on the frame and the mattress sits ontop. also make sure that its all tight, like when you assembled the bed - make sure that all the hardware is nice tight. also if you have wheels - that might be an issue too so do away with the wheels and get some kind of feet so you dont mess up the floor.
- Q:I am just wondering. ..Why do many parents switch to toddler bed inspite of the fact that toddler bed is the same size as crib? Infact, isn't crib more safer?
- Our crib turned into a toddler bed. We just made the switch yesterday. The reason we had to make the transition was because she was climbing over the rail and falling to the floor. We were afraid she was going to hurt herself. If she weren't such a climber I would have kept her in the crib longer... but she's growing up.
- Q:Found a tent my son really likes but it's a bed tent...Not for sleeping outside, just to play in.
- Most bed tents have a part like a fitted sheet that fits over the mattress to help the tent stay in place. A few have straps that Velcro or tie to the bed posts or slip under the mattress. They don't work well off of the bed. Unless this tent says that it can be freestanding, it will probably have to go on the bed.

- Q:I am pregnant with my second baby, and by the time of my due date my big girl would be 16months old. I hate waisting things, or buying things that i'll have to give away or sell too soon... therefore i dont know what kind of bed to buy. For my girl we bougth a convertible crib thinking that we wouldn't need to buy other bed in 10 years. We bought it at costco so is very good quality, this crib we'll use for the new baby, so we need to buy a new bed for my big girl..Would you please help me to decide what to buy?... thanks!!!
- Twin bed. When my daughter was 16 months old, she got a toddler bed and she hates it. Her big sister who lives with us half the time has a twin bed and my daughter gets up at every chance and climbs into her sisters twin bed. My daughter is only 1 year 8 months now and she still does it. She just prefers a big bed. If you are worried about your big girl falling out of bed than I would invest in those safety rails which will come in handy if by chance you were to get pregnant again and your second child needs a big kid bed.
