Q:During the hotest time of the day my air conditioner is off for only 4-5 minutes but then is on for 16-17 minutes! Is this ok, or is there a problem? The temperture outside is 86 degrees (feels like 96) and I have the thermostat set to 75 degreesThe temperture of the air coming out of the vents is 64 degreesNo doors or windows are open and I would think my house is insulated okThe large metal pipe coming from the compressor outside is wet and coldThe coils on the inside are somewhat dirty (I will clean them soon) but I would say that they are not too badIs these cycles times normal? Thanks!
i will start off by saying that i hold 4 college degrees and twenty active licenses and i am sure that you do notyou begin by being quite critical of people and in doing so it also shows which percentage you belong inthe answer to your question you can find a wealth of information on this subject at the archives of the library in Switzerlandi have a degree in engineering (mechanical) and while in college my professor used the Mayan and Egyptian cultures and their mathematical formulas they used to quarry, move and erectlook closely and you will find that not all the engineers of that time were able to erect pyramidsi have traveled the world twice, once in the military and once when i took a sabbatical for 3 years, just to spend time in some of these countrieshave you given thought on the flying buttress design used in the cathedrals of Rome? how about the via ducts erected by the roman engineers? did you know that some palaces in the Harem sections had bathrooms with running water? and let us not forget the Colosseum which was compared by today's engineers to the best stages in Las Vegas Nevada because of the multiple moving stages and elaborate productions put on by Emperors to quell the blood lust of the populationthe systems of elevators, trap doors, movable stages complete with lava flowing volcano'sthere have been studies performed by the university of Scotland on drawings found in caves the depict men in flying saucers? this was written in stone and carbon dated found to be genuinedo we discount those? are you of the mind that we are the smartest group in the universe? here is a question we were discussing a few days ago: if the government claimed they landed on the moon, how come in this day and age with all the advanced technology we now have why have we not been there again? forget the space station, just think if we made a base on the moon.
Q:Ok so i've been dieting for the past 5 days(lol) but not so strictlyI've lost some fat from my face(that maybe psychological though) Anyway, i am always home(i've taken an year off to study strictly) and so my dad never lets me go outSo i have gained a lot of weight around my waist, abdomen and stomachI weight 134 lbI want to take it down to 120 by the end of maySo, can you tell me some exercises which will target my stomach and waist?Or will 10 minutes on the elliptical + 30 minute walk suffice + a diet suffice? Also, can i take 1 spoon sugar everyday?
To narrow your waist, you will have to burn fat around the middle and on your sidesThe only way to burn fat is to get your heart rate up through cardio exerciseJogging is an excellent cardio workout to narrow the waistWhen you jog, your entire core is engaged in the workout, tightening and firming with each stepFor cardio at home, try jumping rope (which is even more effective than running)Cardio exercise burn fat all over your body, and gives you a trim lookThen, you should target your waist area with specific exercisesYou need to perform exercises for upper abs, lower abs, obliques (these are side muscles, to remove fat from the side of your waist) and lower backThese are the exercises that you will need to do: forward crunches for upper abs, leg raises and seated leg tucks for lower abs, side crunches for obliques (at home, use a broomstick, placed on your neck, for more results), hyperextensions for lower backYour workout should be: Forward Crunches - 4 sets to muscle failure Leg Raises - 4 sets to muscle failure Side Crunches - 4 sets to muscle failure Seated Twists - 4 sets to muscle failure Hyperextensions - 4 sets to muscle failure Do not forget your dietEating bad fats, junk food, sugar, lead to fat deposits on your waistUnprocessed food, good fats, low fat protein, fruit and vegetables will keep your waist narrow10 minutes is good for a startThen, you will have to increase the legnth of your exerciseUnless you are going for a walk to enjoy yourself, it's of no use.
Q:I'm trying to find a list of all yarns that are made from animals that do not produce lanolinThat way I can avoid hives and blistersDoes anybody know of any animal based yarns that are lanolin free? If not lanolin free what about if they have lanolin? I know alpaca is safe.and cotton and acrylic.any others I can use.
Take a baking classI did that one summer and it was interesting! Or take care of your baby sisterTry to be nice to herYou might need this in the future :)
Q:there are a million different kindsi want to get one that will straighten my hair and make it shiny and silky with no crimp linesso i don't think i can get one from walmart that will do all of thati don't want to pay hundreds of dollars either.
No, they are using an air drill which generally reaches higher speeds than your average electric hand drillno impact whatsoever is used.
Q:Does anyone know how to make the very tips of the yarn to not poke out? Even on the wrong side, it looks tacky and sometimes it moves to the right sidesAnd on blankets, I'm trying to make the wrong side look decent as wellI wondered about holding a flame to the tip and melting it onto the stitching but am nervous about doing that, ha haAny ideas? Thanks
I usually work the yarn ends a few stitches beyond where it's needed for securityThen I pull slightly on the yarn end and clip it offWhen I pull on the knitting to stretch it out a bit, the yarn end disappears into the fabricHelpful hints: If possible, hide the yarn ends in a seamIf you're working on an unseamed piece, change yarns at the sides of the workThen work one yarn end UP and the other DOWN on the edge.
Q:I am going to Chicago for my brothers boot camp graduationProblem is I need a jacket that will keep me warm the bestAny suggestions? Like what is the best insulation material?
