Q: You see a firefighter aim a fire hose from 4 feet above the ground. The equation h-0.01d^2+1.06d+d models the path of the water when h equals height in feet. Estimate, to the nearest hundredth the possible horizontal distances d (in feet) between the firefighter and the building.Whats the equation and solution?
I love my ugly stick lite have caught pike musky bass crappie and i would recommend it for what your looking for good luck and have fun
Q: Magglio ordonez and Ervin Santana for Daisuke Matsuzaka and Brad Hawpe.
With that breeding, it sounds too good to be true at that priceand you know what they say about things that seem too good to be true! And what's the bit about the buyer must pay for registration? Is that normal procedure when buying an Arabian foal? Every registered foal I ever looked at (I had Appaloosas and QHs) were registered or registration pending all paid for by the seller and the cost just figured in to the asking price of the horse. Is there some problem with the foal, and once you own it and try to get it registered, you will find out that it isn't eligible for registration? That would make sense at the price they are asking - $250 is more the price for a grade colt, not one of impeccable breeding. Make sure you take a trainer or some very experienced professional that you trust when you go to see the colt. And make the purchase contingent on a vet check by a vet of your choice, not associated with the seller - not their regular vet or any vet that works with their regular vet. ALSO, make sure the sale is contingent on you being able to get the colt registered - if it turns out to be ineligible for registration for any reason, the seller should agree to take the foal back and refund your money in full. And get that IN WRITING! If they are unwilling to agree to that, I would really worry about the true pedigree and worth of the animal. As far as if you are ready to train such a foal, only you know if you are really ready for that. Since you have experience, are going to college for horsemanship, and are smart enough to know that you will need some professional help, I think you will be fine.
Q: Are you Kinky?
just get a voltage tester
Q: Why do they give people a blanket in those crime scene or after a fire in movies/tv shows?
I would have the person roll and try to use the large piece of cloth to get the fire out because I like to use every idea as possible. AHah.
Q: fire hydrant flushing, exercising and repair
The inventor of the wrench, Ey Gudasahammer was a German peasant born in 1831. He was a hard worker, but could never work hard enough for the love of his life, who he often lovingly called a wrench, because she strangled his finances from him at every shop in town. Eventually she left him for a shoe salesman, and to overcome his grief, he became a monk in a monastery. After many years of isolated but manly work, he finally invented the thing that earned him fame and fortune. He called it a wrench, after his first love, because it has a firm and powerful grip. The other monks of course were proud of his invention, and commonly called it the Monk Ey Wrench.
Q: IT IS SO ANNOYING.I'm in my dorm room right now at college, trying to study, and this f****** fire alarm beeps once every 45 seconds. How do I make it shut up!!!!!???? I can't contact anyone from the resident hall because it's so late. mountain bike with wide tires ..so you wont slide on wet ice
Q: What maintenance do you normally do to the rubber roof found on today's motor homes? I read conflicting views on the cleaners and treatments and would greatly appreciate some of your experiences both good and bad. The roof material is EPDM and the motor home is 3 years old. It will be stored under cover but in the freezing weather of Alaska. Anything special that should be noted? Thanks.
We kept all of our first child's clothes (which was good because two years later she got a baby sister and so we got to use a lot of them as hand-me-downs). We still keep some of their clothes but we moved recently and got rid of a lot of old clothes (to Goodwill and friends with newborns) that we didn`t ened any more. We have about 2 rubbermaid containers now in the basement of special clothes that were the kids` when they were little. We kept the carseat so that, if we had more kids, we could reuse. We ended up using the same carseat for our first two girls, then bought another for the third We kept the swing and bouncer as well just because we though we would want them for subsequent kids. We ended up getting rid of both of them a few years back because my husband was complaining that it took up too much space in the basement. We ended up buying a new swing recently because we just had another baby 7 months ago and we wanted her to have one as well.
Q: Looking for ideas for a formal outdoor fire pit and patio. Years ago my husband and I built a 25' x 25' stone patio with a sunken firepit in the middle (back yard). We loved that thing. We've now been in our new house for 8 years, and I want to build another one, approximately the same size - only thing different, is that we want the 'pit' to be above ground this time.Would like ideas on types of stone, layout, seating, landscaping around the area etc. You guys are great. Thanks.
This is not safe to do as asbestos is illegal to use in many countries due to the potential cancer risk from asbestos fibres. Then it depends what caused the fire .. if water, it may not work, if air or oxgygen then it will suffocate it and put it out.
Q: I hear thunderous praise for resin BJDs and how superior the material is to vinyl. I have resin BJDs as well as full vinyl BJDs from various companies and I only find resin majorly inferior to vinyl. Not only does resin photograph poorly in any lighting, but it is fragile and yellows fast. Also it's way too heavy a material for dolls. In fact I see no redeeming qualities there to justify the use of such crap material instead of vinyl. The dolls are costly because it is difficult and laboursome to work with this really bad material. So is it just like the story of emperors new clothes, people just think it's superior because the dolls cost a lot and they've been told it is supposed to be all that and then some? Or can somebody tell me what exactly are the reasons why resin is so superior to vinyl?
yes the components are frail and give warnings to even fold it over itself while in operation a fire hazard as well
Q: I am new to using epoxy resin. The first time that I worked with it, I put it in my mold and it cured perfectly. The second time that I used it, when it cured, one side of the resin had a dripping or sinking look to it and the project was ruined. If someone could please tell me why this happened and how I can prevent it from happening again I would REALLY appreciate it. Thank you!So you have an idea what I did - I used epoxy resin that I purchased from a craft store, I measure my ratios in two measuring cups and then transfer to a plastic cup to mix. I add food coloring (which is what I prefer as my colorant). This is the method that I used both times, so I can't figure out why one was perfect and the other was not.
With out special premits and an act of congress you can't buy asbestos blankets.
