Q: I want to sell my Pre-paid Virgin Mobile Prepaid phone, but before I do I want to make sure that you can reactivate it after you cancel so whoever buys it can actually use it. Can someone please tell me how to cancel it, and how the person buying it can reactivate so i can pass that info to them? Please answer this. I wouldn't recommend going and changing the name (If it even lets you do this) and number. What if that person were to somehow able to have access to your previous payments you made by a credit card etc. I think you should just call Virgin, and explain you want your account canceled and you are going to give the phone to someone else and you want to be sure none of your accts info will be on it. I would also ask them how to factory reset the phone itself to erase any downloads you did or text stored on the phone and browser history and all that stuff.

Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? If it's a German prepaid SIM card, what kind should I look for? Can I order one from home, or buy one after arrival in Germany? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.: The German mobile phone network works different from that in the US: Once you have a German SIM (contract or prepaid) in your phone, the European scheme applies which is: Caller pays all, you don't have to pay for airtime. The only problem you might have is that your phone is locked to a T-Mobile contract, so you maybe should by a used mobile (up from 35 euros) and a prepaid sim (up from 10 euros) and submit your new or alternative German numbers to your friends. You can save lots of money by acting like that, instead of feeding t-mobile with roaming charges. IF you move with a German sim to another European country, roaming charges may apply. But it would be stupid not to buy another prepaid sim there

Q: I am looking for some info regarding the mobile phone margins etc. for starting a new business and also the right persons to contact in Delhi/NCR.Can anyone please give some info or relevant links: Mobile phone shops in the USA are operating on 6% profit margins. That is workable because they don't have to keep too much inventory and the staffing may be only 2 customer-service people. It helps if you do your own bookkeeping and don't pay someone else to do it.

Q: Heard apple is going to release new mobile phone this year.Can some body tell me its name.What are the phones coming with windows mobile 7.0: im not sure about the iphone coming out with a new one this year but one thing for sure is sony ericsson xperia x1 is using WM maybe version 7.0 also an interesting phone to look out for would be samsung f480, nice touch on the interface. and theres also the nokia n96, which is going to be loaded with features again, unfortunately, the UI of the Symbian s60 is kind of boring now compared to xperia and f480.

Q: i'm getting a new mobile phone tomorrow. I have a budget of ?150 and not sure which one to get Any suggestions? ( :: 150 pounds isn't that much, you know. I doubt you'll be able to support any phone. First, you have to cover the phone cost, along with the cost for number of minutes. You also have to pay for insurance (yes, there is phone insurance). There's also all the stuff that has to come with the phone (land charger, car charger, headphones). At best you'll probably be able to get one of the cheapest phones around. I suggest you save up before buying one.

Q: Difference between mobile phone and smart phone: Sensible phones have the capacity to search the net turbo, play all kinds of games, watch films, keep more tune, they seem better so far as the customization part goes. And clearly with common telephones you just can name, text, and take snap shots. The web on them take approach to long and there's video games that cost like 15 bucks and now not even enjoyable/

Q: Could someone answer simply with not many words how mobile phones work: well there are cell phone towers everywhere and when you make a call on your mobile phone it sends the signal to the nearest switchboard, which then sends it to the nearest tower, and then that signal is sent to the other phone you are calling. think of a walkie talkie. your cell phone is basically a really advanced walkie talkie. hope that helps?
