Q:I wanna know what's the name of the chairs that look sort of like bean bag chairs but instead of being on the floor, they actually have support. They are also round like the bean bag chairs and really comfortable to sit on.

So are you asking how to reupholster the back of a small chair? Cut a piece of fabric at least 6 bigger on all sides, get a piece of batting 1/2 smaller all around than the area being covered and a staple or glue gun. Put the batting on the area to be covered, cover it in the fabric and pull the fabric to the back, securing with staples and or glue. Standard upholstery. Other wise, make a pillow the right size and shape and then tie it in place. I would add more detail to the question, maybe a pic of the chair?

Q:So my boy almost 1 year loves to scratch my chair. I don't really care because I don't like the chair, however I do not want to encourage this behavior because I will eventually get a nice sofa and chair. He usually stands up and scratches the corners so I have put the sticky paws tape in the corners, then he started laying down and scratching the bottom, so I put sticky paws tape on the bottom. He has now moved to the middle of the sides and back. I'm not taping anymore of the chair as that no longer bothers him. hes scratches through now.I've tried different smelling sprays- bitter apple, hartz brand and some all natural thing.He has scratchers and posts all over. he has ones that vertical, horizontal, diagonal-made of carpet, sisal and cardboard. he has one that is coved even (like a house) he sleeps in it. the largest is next to the chair he scratches and I kid you not, he steps on this scratcher to get to the chair.

When people come to my house invited or uninvited, my cat is always on the spare chair. I either hold the cat or put him on the floor and she can find another place to lay for that time. Maybe if you don't want these visitors, if you do tell them to stand or leave, maybe you will not have to worry about them any more.

And when you see what they are, you really won't want to pay that for them. :) The chairs are really nice and I can't think of anything you can substitute for the insert. It is 2 odd sized rectangle-ish foam inserts for the seat and back and then 2 cylindrical inserts for the arms. Stuffing it all in there is a pain but it's nice when you have to wash just one area of the chair. You might try looking on craigslist. I see stuff like that all the time on there. I know it's a good chunk of money (especially when you add the cover) but the one we have has really taken a beating and it still looks brand new. If you can't find a cheaper one, I'd still just buy the one from pottery barn.

it is able to be a lil inexpensive since you live in Florida...it is first-class to call around and get exceptional prices. do not decide one price. attempt the net or telephone book...additionally your wedding planner may have a list of vendors on your vicinity.,

I okorder /... I ended up paying full price for it ($116) but my mom ended up finding the exact one for her house on craigslist for $50. I actually run across lots of really cool, vintage-looking wooden chairs on craigs...I would take a look.
