Q: Since my acer timeline doesn't have a cd/dvd drive I extracted opensuse iso and tried to install suse within windows vista but didn't work when i rebooted the laptop. I chose install open suse but it didn't work so I deleted it, but it still appears on windows boot loader!how do I get rid of it, so that vista boots automaticly?: use daemon tools for virtual dvdrom.

Is there any way to load Ubuntu using MBR?: That link will allow you to fix GRUB after Windows wipes it out. To be honest, GRUB is the best way to boot into Ubuntu or Windows. Windows doesn't play will with other and as such their boot loader really isn't the best way to have a dual boot (windows/linux). Here are some tips to make GRUB look more like how you want it: * The driver (file that tells the computer how GRUB is to be displayed) is located at /boot/grub/grub.cfg * Always backup grub.cfg before editing it so that you can always restore it later if you mess something up. * The first entry on the list is always booted first. This should be the OS you want to default load each time you turn on your computer.

Q: q loader? or the halo?: halo or vlocity qloader is cool, but kind of impractical, for most games, unless your sniping or playing mil-sim games, it is pretty noisy with a whiney sound to it... plus you have to buy the extra tubes and all.... i looked into it and my friend got the q loader, its neat but i would say go for the halo or vlocity

I'm so confused.Do I take a bucket and just add a couple of buckets of water into the washing machine on top of the clothes??Than once I add the water I add the soap??I've checked tons of times can't find any compartments...Sorry I'm very new to this laundry thing!: When your washer was installed it should have been connected to your water system. Unlike a top-loading machine where the machine fills with water while you watch-A front loader won't do that as water would get all over the floor. 1. Throw your dirty clothes in the washer. Throw a scoopful of laundry detergent on top of the clothes (Most laundry detergent boxes come with a scoop). Once the clothes and soap are in the washer-close the door and press START. Check the settings to make sure they are set for what you want (Hot water,warm water cold water/delicate fabrics,time cycle,etc) That is all their is to it. You don't add water with a bucket. Pressing start will send the water in thru the back of the machine. If there is no water it means your machine is not hooked up. When the machine was delivered they should have connected water to the back of the machine. If this is a new washer you should have gotten an big instruction book with all the instructions you need.
