If you have an attack put fiberglass insulation above the ceiling

Q:Hi,The felt (or whatever it is made of) ceiling in my car is falling down. I have scraped most of the residual glue off the ceiling made out of fiberglass and what I can off of the carpet/felt part. I've tried a couple of different types of two sided tape and can't get it to stick. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance...
you need to take the head liner backing down , its held up by some screws or clips, careful not to break it, then go to a good automotive store and get some HEAD LINER adhesive , its made for the job work where you have plenty of room follow the directions then put it back in the car a second person to take out & put back in is helpful
Q:Is there any decoration material that can replace the glass on the sliding door?
With ordinary glass can be
Q:What would be a good cheap insulation for a basement ceiling or wall?
Fiberglass batt insulation is best bang for the buck. For 2x4 walls use R13 paper faced batts and for 2x6 walls use R19. Curious to why you are insulating the ceiling. It is usually not required unless you are talking an unconditioned space like a crawl space. The only reason I like to insulate the ceiling in the basement (or any floor joists area for that matter) is for sound insulation. For that purpose I have found that R13 unfaced insulation is sufficient.
Q:Bought a house about a year ago, and the basement ceiling is stuffed with fiberglass insulation. It's warm in the basement, especially the room where the furnace is, but we hardly ever use it.I'm wondering if all that insulation is trapping the heat the furnace gives off while it runs, preventing it from rising upstairs? Would it be worth removing it myself or just let it all stay in the ceiling? If you recommend removal what's the best way to dispose of it?Thanks!
Leave it - taking it out won't warm your main level enough to do any good. The fiberglass insulation is also insulating your main level. It's also a great sound barrier. Just leave it. The pains you'd go through trying to pull it out would be much more than what it's worth anyways... That fiberglass is nasty stuff! You'll be iching for days, I swear... It's just plain nasty.
Q:the fabric lining my jeep's ceiling is missing in the front of my car. came down in bits and pieces and i wasn't able to reattach it. there's a material underneath that looks something like yellow fiberglass??? is that right? is it safe to be exposed to this? i don't use the car much so i haven't had it fixed yet but i'd like to know what i'm dealing with here. thanks for any help!
your board is probably fiberglass but the material your seeing will be the old foam rotting away, you have to remove the entire board and clean it and get a new piece back up ,when new that came with a 1/4 inch foam backed material but over the years it deteriorates and falls down ,that's the only way to repair it right and make it look good, the new material cost about 12 bucks a yard and is about 54 inches wide so you,ll need about 3 yards at least to do this with and at least 3 cans of glue, glue both sides ,the board side and the material side then bond them together, and reinstall it and your done, this will cost you about 50 bucks to do this one, good luck.
Q:My insulation was installed paper towards the roof.
Yes it matters! Paper side should go down (toward the living space) because the paper side has a vapor barrier that will trap any moisture. If you install it backwards, you'll trap moisture in your insulation and make it less efficient. If you are installing additional insulation over existing, you can install the paper side up and then cut the paper side to provide an escape for and vapor.
Q:Melamine resin and polypropylene made of plastic bowl is better
There are many types of plastic products, a lot of classification methods.
