Product Description:

Description

Ferro Silicon is a kind of ferroalloy which is composed of ferrum and silicon. Ferro Silicon uses coke, quartz (or silica) as raw materials and is made by electric furnace. Because silicon and oxygen are easily compound into SiO2, the ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steelmaking.

Application

1. Ferrosilicon is often used as deoxidizer in steel- making.

2. Ferrosilicon also can be used as alloy elements join agent, which is widely used in low alloy steel, non-ferrous metal, bearing steel, heat-resistant steels and electrician silicon-steel.

3. It can be used as a reductant in ferroalloy production and chemical industry.

4. In iron industry it can be used as inoculant and nodulizer.

Q:Non metals?
No. Have you seen the cost of a composite stick recently? Many are over $200. The bigger reason is because metal sticks would not provide anywhere near the feel that wood or composite sticks provide. You can still buy metal shafts.
Q:Black metal/Death metal?
im......will you help me....or will sombody help me...please!!!!!!! Click on my name and see my chem questions ! Thank you so much ahead of time!
Q:Least favorite Thrash Metal?
I would like examples of the bands also
Q:where are the elements found on earth to produce metal?
www.okorder.com
Q:Favorite category/ sub-category of METAL?!?
Metals are soluble in water. You can buy vitamin fortified water which contains iron zinc and other metals too.
Q:what's your definition of real metal?
Death metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. It typically employs heavily distorted guitars, tremolo picking, deep growling vocals, blast beat drumming, minor keys or atonality, and complex song structures with multiple tempo changes. Black metal is an extreme subgenre of heavy metal music. Common traits include fast tempos, shrieked vocals, highly distorted guitars played with tremolo picking, blast beat drumming, raw recording, and unconventional song structures.
Q:extreme metal v.s core metal?
Linkin Park, and Three Days Grace are most certainly not metal! they are maybe rock metal is FAST DISTORTED RIFFS... a good example of that is parkway drive they are metal
Q:Metal genres? ?
All cheaper, non-precious metals are called 'base metal'. That includes copper, brass, bronze, pewter, iron, tin, zinc and so on. Precious metal are gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium and a few others. Metals are 'precious' because they are rare (expensive), beautiful etc. A lot of base metal is very beautiful on it's own (I love solid copper and brass/bronze jewelry), but most commercially available base metal jewelry is plated (with gold or rhodium/silver) to look like precious metal. That's where the problems start. The plating wears off after a short while and the base metal starts being visible. If it is pinkish, it is copper. So, as far as I am concerned, you are fine if you buy solid base metal. That way, the base metal is polished and sealed (check out the link below for some shiny copper earrings) and you can clean it to a bright color. It's the plated metal, I would stay away from, especially for a ring.
Q:How does metal get into soil?
Generally metal reflect microwaves and in older models this can cause damage to the magnetron. My microwave is perfectly happy with metal in it, and even came with a metal tray and a pair of metal racks for use inside it. Neither ever spark. You can get sparks from poorly connected pieces of metal in a microwave. This most often occurs with things like metal trim or even metal paint.
Q:Tell me What is real metal?
Not a metal. Metals react with water
