Manganese has a melting point of 1245oC,specific gravity of 7.2.Ordinary manganese is a hard and brittle gray-white metal .It is chemically reactive and slowly decompose cold water. Manganese metal is ferromagnetic after special treatment.

Also it is used in the high performance soft magnetization ferrite, high magnetic permeability ferrite, high saturated magnetic induction density low cost ferrite, high stable low cost ferrite.
Electrolytical manganese mainly used as an additive ,to increase the hardness , stiffness , and corrosion resistance of metal alloy applied to the field of steel smelting, non-ferrous alloy, Electronic Technology,chemical industry ,environmental protection ,space industry ,etc.

- omfg, yes i am. i just turned 14 i've been listening to all kinds of rock for all my life practically. its f*cking mtv guitar hero/rockband that show these bands to these lame posers, then they go out to hot topic buy everything from the band and they're suddenly metalheads. i hate the *****ng media crap. besides, they cant even tell their genres right, they say my chemical romance is death metal and stuff, wtf? and linkin park is supposably punk. omg i hate it :/

- I prefer power metal on average. There is so much overlap though. As another poster pointed out, even these have subdivisions of their own. There are a lot of death metal bands that are essentially power metal with death vocals and there are power metal bands that sound like death with clean vocals. Take one black metal band and add a fiddle and you have folk metal. Trade the fiddle for organ and you end up with some avant-garde prog. This is why I can't stop buying CDs. There's just so much to love.
