- Q: does anyone know how much it will cost to turn on a t-mobile phone
- wrong section for this question. but hope this works
- Q: I am considering switching to T-Mobile from a prepaid phone company and I had a few questions-can I keep my same old number?-if you have their service, do you like it?-what phone do you think I should get-I want a full keyboard? Thanks!
- awesome samsung behold or gravity or samsung blast
- Q: Hey guys, so I am getting a new phone and have no idea what to get. I had verizon, but after the two year contract, I got to overwhelmed with the price. I usually don't call that much, but I send a very large amount of texts. I want something that is very durable because I do tend to drop all my phones. I was considering the Samsung Intercept, the Blackberry Curve, and the LG Rumor touch.IF you could help me decide if Virgin mobile is worth the money and if the phones are good thatd be great. Also, which one of the phones you like the best.XOX,CALIlt;3
- This one is easy. Intercept! It's the most expensive of the three, but it is the only Android phone. The Rumor is crap, and the Curve, in my opinion, sucks compared to an Android phone. If you want a cheaper contract service, go with Sprint (who owns Virgin's towers). You'll pay about the same as going with Virgin (70/mth with 450 minutes, Unlimited Txt, Unlimited Web, Unlimited Sprint TV) and you'll not have to worry if you forget to put money on your phone.because if you forget with Virgin, your phone will cut off. Also, phone wise, the Intercept will run you as low as 20.00 while with Virgin, it'll be more like 250.
- Q: I want to sell my Pre-paid Virgin Mobile Prepaid phone, but before I do I want to make sure that you can reactivate it after you cancel so whoever buys it can actually use it. Can someone please tell me how to cancel it, and how the person buying it can reactivate so i can pass that info to them? Please answer this. Who ever can answer this will get BEST ANSWER and the HIGHEST POINTS POSSIBLE I CAN GIVE!!! :)
- Would like to know this too
- Q: I plan to travel from USA to Germany, and would like to have a mobile phone to keep in touch with my German friends. I have a GSM phone. But if I use my current mobile plan (T-Mobile USA), I will end up with high roaming charges. What's my least expensive option, preferably with free incoming calls in Germany? If it's a German prepaid SIM card, what kind should I look for? Can I order one from home, or buy one after arrival in Germany? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.
- You get them in any phone stor or internet cafe The most commun are 'T mobile' and 'Vodafone' Usually all are free for incomming calls within Germany.
- Q: Basically I've had my current mobile for a good few years now and I've been saving up for a new one. I'm not too bothered about networks but I think I'm looking for a contract phone. There's obviously the choice between a blackberry and an iphone, but I have no idea what's a good deal and what's not? And also any other types of android mobiles which are really good? I prefer qwerty keyboards but if anyone can suggest a good touchscreen one that would be good too. I'd like to have internet access and app downloads, but I don't want to be spending something crazy like ?35 per month aha. Please help I'm completely lost with all these deals and mobile phones :)
- sony ericsson vivaz pro its a cool phone. It runs Symbian. It has a resistive touchscreen ( like windows mobile 6.5) Blackberry stocks are going down. iPhone sucks because you cant tether, no flash, no moving wallpapers, no dual core processors (its only a 1ghz A4 processor) its only got 512MB RAM, not even 1 GB. your best bet it Sony ericsson xperia x10 (cheap, candy bar style touchscreen, running android 2.1 if you want something smaller get the x10, or x8 (xperia) If you are on A GSM network, get the Motorola atrix. (it turns into a laptop with the laptop dock) its running android 2.2. you can make this phone a mobile hotspot (iPhone 4 cant do that) Get an Android phone even better, if you root it (look up superoneclick) you can get free apps that usually cost money on android market., you can also use tethering, and completely change the font of your phone. I rooted my xperia x10 and upgraded to gingerbread (android 2.3) added multitasking, and downloaded some really cool fonts. Also apple stocks have gone down, because android is an open source, and apple is not. No wonder they are losing money.
- Q: Im a 15 year old girl and im looking for a mobile phone which has good features and looks stylishSomething cute and nice in Sony Ericcson or NokiaPlease could you suggest? and yeah I dont mind the price.
- for your age, buy a SE c510. it has smile shutter and face detection
- Q: If I already have a contract with T-Mobile, and have one of their cell phones, could I go to a T-Mobile store, and just buy a new phone, and transfer my existing SIM Card to it, without having to start a new/extend my contract?
- yes no problem. if the contract is live you could easily transfer it (your sim) to another T-mobile phone or even better, any open line phone Most phones from the manufacturer are shipped open line meaning you could use it with almost any other sim card. Once the phone goes through a service provider however (such as T-mobile), they usually 'sim lock the phone. this is the service provider's way of protecting their investment on the phone unit. this means that should you decide to change sim cards, the old phone will only work if you get the sim card from the service provider that provided the phone in the first place. In your case, should you decide to use or give away your old phone, this will only work if the new sim card comes from T-mobile.
- Q: Does anyone know why I can not post any questions while I am browsing yahoo answers with my mobile?I can get to the screen where I'm typing now and fill in my question but the continue button doesn't work. When I click it nothing happens.I AM LOGGED IN on my mobileI have the samsung jet (S8000)
