- im not sure about the iphone coming out with a new one this year but one thing for sure is sony ericsson xperia x1 is using WM maybe version 7.0 also an interesting phone to look out for would be samsung f480, nice touch on the interface. and theres also the nokia n96, which is going to be loaded with features again, unfortunately, the UI of the Symbian s60 is kind of boring now compared to xperia and f480.

- Nope Vigin Mobile will not allow you to do that. The Paylo phones have only a few phones. You can not buy a unlimited Virgin Mobile phone and put it into a Paylo account. Secondly there is no sim cards on Virgin Mobile since Virgin Mobile uses CDMA network here in the United States.

- Go online and report it as lost or stolen. My daughter lost her phone, and after searching for it for a few days, we reported it lost. Virgin Mobile offered her a new (upgraded) phone for the cost of shipping (about $10 as I recall). Aside from the shipping charge, she didn't lose any money off of her account. - It is ultimately possible to put a Boost Mobile phone on Virgin Mobile, but the hassle involved (not to mention the laws broken to do so) makes the answer: Technically yes, but not feasible. Virgin Mobile does not allow outside phones in their system, regardless of if other carriers have it available or not. The problem here is that in order to make an outside phone work and get by their rules, you need to do what is known as ESN cloning, where you take the ESN of a Virgin Mobile phone and put it on the phone you want to use. ESN cloning is currently against federal law (primarily DMCA laws) and some state laws as well (notably New York State). It is just easier (and most likely cheaper) to just buy a Boost Mobile phone if you want to use Boost Mobile services.

- You need a T-Mobile account and data plan just to set the phone up initially. I have one, so I've done it. When you first fire up the phone, it expects to find a T-Mobile sim with an active data plan, and you have to set up Google access with either an existing account or a new account set up on the phone. Once you do that, I understand you can unlock the phone and use it with other GSM systems (like ATT), but there are a couple of caveats: 1. You won't be able to use the T-Mobile data network, even with a ATT data plan. 2. You can allegedly tweak the phone to use the ATT data network, but you still have to have a data plan to do so. 3. You won't have any 3G access on ATT or T-Mobile's network. It will work with the edge network, but since the phoen si a 3G phone, you lost the advantage of that higher speed network. To me, doing it this way is no advantage. Even though ATT has better 3G coverage (currently), T-Mobile is rapidly rolling theirs out, and it is available in many major cities. I have it where I work in DC, but not where I live yet in Jacksonville, Florida, but the edge network works there really well. I know you have an ATT plan, but if your contract is up or close to it, I'd switch. I'm very happy with T-Mobile (been with them many years) and the G1 is an excellent phone.

- Weeeeell, yeah, we're a bit undertechnological as I've almost never actually seen a cellphone used in Egypt to make videocalls even though the service is available. Most Egyptians don't use their cellphones to browse the web even though most of the people in the west do. Of course, it's caused a considerable a change. A huge change Positive and negative. Positive because you actually get the chance to communicate freely with whoever you want, there are no location restrictions (because it's not connected to any wall or something) and you could call them instantly. Negative because, as you can contact them instantly, you can disrupt their private lives and steal their privacy completely.
