Which one of the following is most penetrating?alpha particlesbeta particlesgamma rayspositrons
gamma rays Alpha particles are the least penetrating not able to pass through a single sheet of paperBeta particles can penetrate through a sheet of paper but not a piece of aluminumGama rays can travel through both paper and aluminum but not leadThe positron is an anti-electron (antimatter), and it will have little power to penetrate anything, even at high energyA thin sheet of aluminum foil will stop it.
I have not done this in a whileBake it in aluminum foil pockets? Any other ideas, thanks!
Well, you are renting.so youDid you have renters insurance? You had no agreement with the condo company, you had one with your sister and in any event I am sure the Condo Documents state that you are responsible for your own property.
can i substitute wax paper with aluminum foil?
Flaxseeds will help you in lossing weight
A company manufactures aluminum mailboxes in the shape of a box with a half-cylinder topThe company will make 1395 mailboxes this weekIf each mailbox has dimensions as shown in the figure below, how many square meters of aluminum will be needed to make these mailboxes? In your calculations, use the value 3.14 for pi, and round your answer to the next square meter. And on 'the figure below' There is the mailbox with I think the length is 0.19m and the width is 0.66m and the height is 0.47m
You have basically two sets of problems; divide and conquerBreak the areas into rectangles which are easy (Alw)and the half round and half cylindrical sides The area of the two half circle sections will total 3.14r^2 (where r is the radius of the half circle (which is .33m if I get your description right), the cylindrical top area would be half of l2(3.14)r or .193.14.33 (assuming again that radius 1/2 of width) You should be able to calculate the areas and add them from there Hope this helpsFor the future Area of a circle Apir^2, Circumference C2pir Once you get the total area, don't forget to round up to the next sqmeter after multiplying by the number of mailboxes made.
I live with my parents, and its not like my mom and sister can't cook, I just do it better lol! I have a few things I'm cooking a head of time, but any more suggestions would be AWESOME!!My real questions is where do you get those metal pans from and will they go on sale after the holidays (after Christmas leaves me about 9 weeks)?
Because no other explanation makes any sense scientifically, physically, metallurgically, logically or factuallyAll conspiracy theories have been proven impossibleSome people just choose to remain willfully ignorant.
I have an ARC and a MIG welder. The MIG has flux core in it. I have used both for steel, but me and some friends experimented with aluminium. It did ok, but i was curious if it would hurt the welder in any way by not having aluminium electrodes. I don't need it to be strong, just enough to hold the pieces together.
I doubt you would have damaged your MIG welder. However, the welds you made are NOT OK. They were bubbly deposits of slag with some spongy iron mixed in. If you tried to put any load on them they would break almost immediately. That is not a weld Of course, since you're using that inner shield crap, You're probably used to seeing welds that look like somebody blew their nose all over your joint. In order to MIG weld aluminum, you need a gas regulator, and a bottle of pure argon gas. It also helps to have smooth U drive rollers
