- Oh-ohthat was a very bad thing to do!! You can cut knitting if you are careful and know what you are doing, but crochet? I think you just have to rip it all out and start overIf you still can do it, stabilize all the cut edgesYou can use iron-on binding, and then sew through the edge stitches catching all the yarnsYou may have to put some sort of binding around that edgeit may not look as you wanted, but without securing that cut edge, it is just going to come apart on youWhatever possessed you to cut into your fabric?!!?

- Get primer and paint made for masonry and concreteAll major paint brands make itMake sure the block is clean and dry before you start paintingAs for the insulation, there isn't a huge difference between R-11 and R-13If you're talking about using a portable heater to heat the garage, only when you need to work on the car, I'd go with the best price.

- since you have ajoining hollow walls the best and easiest way to insulate this would be to use a blown insulation that can be blown in from the bottom( they will have to cut holes in each stud cavity) and it will fill the wall cavity, there will be holes at the top also however once you do the lil sheetrock patch after the insulation you will be very happy
