Q:So I‘ve always had problems with my tires on my bikes. I know I need new tubes for my bike, but today I pulled out 3 thorns out of my flat front tire. When I get new tubes, put them in, put air in the tires, will it stay full of air not leak or do I have to get a new front tire as well from the small three thorn holes? Oh, are their really strong tubes to get to prevent thorns from puncturing my tires?
make sure ur tire is clean with nothing puncturing through it and if ur tire is in really bad condition u probably should get a new one. and u dont need to keep buying new tubes just getting a $3 tire patching kit
Q:New for four tires, remember management fees or prepaid expenses?
Management fees - vehicle fees - other costs
Q:I've always used the accurate tire pressure, but once I went to a tire shop to get a tire repaired so I asked them to go ahead and even out my all my tires' pressure. The guy told me that even though my sticker said to leave my tires at 32 psi that it was best for all (meaning everyones) tires to be at a 35 psi, does anyone know whether or not this is true?
This Site Might Help You. RE: Tire pressure, 32 or 35 psi? I've always used the accurate tire pressure, but once I went to a tire shop to get a tire repaired so I asked them to go ahead and even out my all my tires' pressure. Q:My old POLO is 165 wide tires, I would like to use good tires or good tires good? Now the car is generally more than 185, but I asked the old driver, they said no need to change the tires have a clear person?
Very simple question, if based on safety, braking, rain and snow days on the tire grip, and other factors, of course, is a greater force of the tire, more secure. If for economic problems, like the above problems a year and rare encounter, save the oil, you can let the landlord run farther ...
Q:I got a jeep wrangler and it has off road tires. one of them is dead and cant be repaired. i want to know if it would be a better investment to replace that one tire, or get 5 new on road tires.
Off road tires have deep tread made of super soft rubber for lots of bite. I'll bet if you look at the side wall of these tires you'll see no UTQG rating. The higher the number after the letters UTQG the longer the tires last. Snow, race, tractor, go-kart tires have no wear rating either because it would scare everyone away from buying them. If you switch to regular tires again you won't have to put up with that awful tread howl when you drive down the road.
Q:The tires are bottom line bf goodrich
BFG's are usually pretty good tires. But if you got them from Wal-Mart or something then they're gonna be the worst of the worst. So yes, it could just be that you went too cheap on your tires.
Q:I recently got a new set of tires for my truck, which are not as heavy duty as the originals since I do not haul that heavy of that weight anymore. Do I follow the psi on the tires or what is on the door?
Follow the recommended PSI specified on your door. The max PSI listed on any given tire is just that, a max. And should only be considered if and when hauling very heavy loads. If you, as you say, are not hauling any heavy weight, it is advisable to stick very close to the recommended PSI.
Q:I just bought a Trek 7.3 and am curious if I can put bigger/nubbier tires on it? I‘m afraind to go riding on the CO towpath on the road tires it came with.
Sounds like you need some Cyclocross tyres, which are essentially a 700c tyre designed for both off and on-road use. Go to any tyre manufacturer website and look up their 'Cyclocross' range, and read the tyre description to see if it's got what you need. I put the Maxxis link below to give you an idea what I mean.
Q:hungry and tired.
Tired. Yesterday was deadline, and the paper didn't get put to bed until after 10. And, of course, we start the new production week by coming in early for a staff meeting the next day
Q:If I want to inflate my tires to a specific PSI, do I have to deflate the tire entirely and then inflate them again using a floor pump?
Pressure is constant weather you add air or not. If you don't have a gage on the floor pump go by pressing your thumb on the side wall. You can pretty much tell the correct pressure my feel after you use a gage a few times.
