- Q:I have bought a TV and DVD player. The instructions say that the two should be connected using an RCA cable. Is there anything special about an RCA cable or it just a cable with phono connectors. I have connected the two together using cables with phono connectors, connecting the Y, Pb and Pr connections on the TV and DVD player but I can only get the sound and no picture. I would be grateful for any help, thanks.
- RCA cables are the ones with Red, Yellow White ends. They connect both sound video between the components.

- ONCE AGAIN, EDWARD is CORRECT ! If the TV cable was connected to the TV it likely damaged the connector on the TV set.so it would have to be repaired too. Screw on connectors work ok, if you fold the OUTER shield over the black plastic outer sheath.and make sure the WHITE inner insulator extends 3/16 of an inch farther outand the CENTER conductor has another 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch past the white insulator The screw on should have some resistance to it while screwing it on. Then you can TRUST that to be repaired properly. If it's still snowy, LOOK at the TV's antenna connector.is it BENT? Loose and Wiggly? Then that NEEDS repaired too.

- Q:as the connector to harddrive may be connected with harddrive then what will be make the fault to harddrive as it have no effect or its data will be corrupted or it will be formattedor it will burn
- It wont function in case you are mentioning power supply to the hard drive.In case of data cable,again same.So be careful while connecting.And secondly your problem is not at all clear or coherent from the way you've written.Dont take it otherwise,no offence meant.But remember others can help you if you are clear in your writing.

- From the pictures I've seen it looks like its a simple PCIe power connector. I don't think they make adapters for this type of connection. What you will need is a power supply with built in power connections for a GPU such as this.
- Q:Hi there, i am having a HUGE problem with my laptop. Im not sure exactly when it started.But i have a battery that i plug in that i also plug into my computer, and i use to be able to build up the battery, and use my computer without it, once it was charged. Well for some reason, it it totally messed up now.The battery icon on the bottom right has disseapered. and the WORST part, is if i move the cord connected to the computer it shuts off. I have lost alot of homework because of this. So, it no longer works as a battery, and my laptop wont work without it plugged in 24/7 and if i move it an inch it turns off my computer completely.I have went to safe mode, and tried maybe setting the laptop back about 6 months before the problem arose.that didnt work, ive tried last known configueration, and ive tried starting windows up manually. Nothing is working for me. And i would hate to have to bring it in to get it fixed, because thats always expensive. Anyone who can help?
- Jabberin is probably right. with a little luck it will just be a damaged connector that can be resoldered to the board. Otherwise new laptop time. If you have had it for awhile, a third option is to try and find a used one on OKorder or elsewhere to swap out parts. Will be cheap, and it is easier to replace entire parts than fix individual components.
- Q:i don't want to wire and i don't want to buy a connector are there any aftermarket 6x9's that will connect to my stock connector where the stock speakers go or will i just have to buy a connector :-(
- There may be adapters, but a simple splice might be more economical and easier.
- Q:Because I'm planning to buy a High-end GPU and of course we should put extra power coming from the PSU. Anyways. Last time I check inside my Computer, the PSU has one remaining connector slot. It looks like a small long rectangular shape and has like holes or spikes maybe 4 to 6. Is that the connector from the GPU? Please help! I'm not much of a pro to disconnect all the cables from the PSU and put them back together. I can only put a GPU and a processor.

- Plug the red and white connectors into your stereo's aux. input. If you don't have a stereo, get a pair of powered computer speakers (any type should work) and sometimes they have the red/white audio inputs. If not, get a converter cable that goes from red/white RCA to headphone mini-jack and use that to connect your 360 to the speakers. The converter cable can be found at any generic electronics part store, or if you're desperate, Radio Shack.
