- Q:Can you eat coloured icy poles in the plastic tubes with braces??
- YES. If they are not chewy or rock solid, then you are good to go.
- Q:Are plastic tubes resistant to heat?
- Yes, plastic tubes can be resistant to heat depending on the type of plastic used. Some plastics, such as polypropylene and PTFE, have high heat resistance and can withstand elevated temperatures without deforming or melting. However, it is essential to consider the specific material and its temperature limits before using plastic tubes in applications involving heat.
- Q:What are the common sizes of plastic tubes used for pharmaceutical packaging?
- Common sizes of plastic tubes used for pharmaceutical packaging can vary, but some standard sizes include 10 ml, 15 ml, and 30 ml tubes.
- Q:Are plastic tubes suitable for outdoor applications?
- Plastic tubes can be suitable for outdoor applications depending on the type of plastic used and the specific requirements of the application. Some types of plastic, such as PVC or HDPE, are highly durable and resistant to weathering, UV radiation, and moisture, making them suitable for outdoor use. However, it is essential to consider factors like temperature extremes, exposure to chemicals or sunlight, and the mechanical stress the tubes may encounter. In certain cases, additional protective measures, such as UV stabilizers or coatings, may be necessary to ensure the long-term performance of plastic tubes in outdoor environments.
- Q:Broke 1 replacement tube trying to install it, any secrets to getting it on there?
- make sure it is the correct size,if so put a little oil on end of tube, you can use blunt end of lead pencil to help you get started.
- Q:i got a science project to do and i need the little pipe that connects two 2 liters, and u spin it and it drains into the other one making a tornado.

- Q:So I was eating GoGurt yogurt. And I think I accidentally swallowed a part or the jagged part on the top of the tube. I don't think it was very big. I'm guessing the size was the size of half of a dime or a 1/4 of a dime. I know this doesn't sound too bad, since I've heard people who swallowed pennies, then they were fine, but I don't know how to get rid of it. I can still breathe and drink normally, but when I talk for too long, my throat starts to hurt a little. So far, I've tried drinking lots of water, swallowing some food to push it down (rice. :D), coughing, vomiting, and clearing my throat but I think it's still there. I'm actually not sure if it's still there or if it is gone, or just made a cut so it hurts. But I don't want to go to the doctors or ER, I'm poor. Are there any other ways to get the plastic out? Oh and if I leave it there, how long will it take for it to go down my throat and digest?
- Try eating more rice. If that doesn't work try to stick your finger down your throat but not far enough to make you throw up. Try to pull it out. I did that once when I was choking on a cheeto. Good luck
- Q:How do i distill alcohol? Do i need copper tubing or can i use different tubing for the home distiller?
- It is preferable to use stainless steel. Copper is ok and will be the easiest to bend, but make sure it has no soldered joints as solder contains lead which is extremely toxic. Copper may also give off a taint for the first couple of runs and any time it is left unused for a while. Plastic/rubber tubing may not stand the heat and may release other toxins into the brew. Not sure about glass, probably at risk of it shattering and it would be an expensive lab set up. Make sure you do your research on this, as in the process of distilling alcohol, the first hundred mls of distillate is toxic to humans and needs to be discarded.
- Q:How are plastic tubes stored and transported?
- Plastic tubes are typically stored and transported in a variety of ways depending on their size, shape, and material. They are commonly stored in cardboard boxes, plastic bags, or on specialized racks or shelves to prevent damage and ensure easy access. For transportation, they are often packed into larger containers, such as crates or pallets, and secured with straps or shrink wrap to prevent shifting or breakage during transit. Additionally, tubes that are particularly fragile or sensitive may be individually packed or cushioned to provide extra protection.
- Q:Sooo...i'm having some trouble here. I have about 3000 feet of plastic tubing (that looks a lot like the rubber tubing you'd see in a lab). Thats all i know about it.....and i need to find the right sized pump to get 2 gpm of water. Its 1/2 inch diameter tubing. Any sort of estimate would be nice.......trying to make sure i don't get a pump to weak. But don't wanna go to overboard (limited funds). thanks
- I suppose that tubing will be used horizontal at all times during the course of operation with out any fittings. If yes then get pressure at the outlet end by Q (Flow)= Pressure x Area (inner) Find pressure drop from any sourse ( e.g. Ask manufacturer for pressure drop per 1000 foot) Add pressure drop of entire lenght to pressure from formula. Have 20% safety factor added. In case of any fittings used add pressure drop of fittings (from Mfg.) to pressure drop of tubing, if height changes; for every 2.31 feet have a loss of 1 PSI added to original loss of tubing before adding safety factor. Hope it help
